Detailed Introduction

Chesapeake Health Care Dental is a prominent dental clinic located at 12165 Elm St, Princess Anne, MD 21853, with an additional presence in Salisbury, MD. It operates as a vital component of Chesapeake Health Care, a federally qualified health center established in 1994 (originally as Three Lower Counties Community Services, Inc.). The clinic's primary mission is to deliver affordable, culturally competent, patient, and family-centered health care, including dental services, to residents of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties in Maryland, irrespective of their ability to pay. Chesapeake Health Care Dental is recognized as the largest provider of dental services for both adults and children on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Their comprehensive services focus on prevention and restoration, offering general dental care, check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. They are committed to serving a diverse patient base, accepting Medicaid and most other insurance plans, and offering a sliding fee scale based on household income and family size to ensure accessibility for underinsured and uninsured individuals. Beyond direct patient care, Chesapeake Health Care Dental is dedicated to community health and education. Their dental department serves as a clinical training site for accredited advanced education programs in pediatric dentistry, in partnership with NYU Langone Medical Center. They also engage in active patient outreach programs within schools in the three lower counties of Maryland, providing screenings, preventive services, and case management for children and expectant mothers. Furthermore, they have a Division of Continuing Dental Education, sponsoring courses for local and internationally trained dentists. The clinic plays a crucial role in advocating for broader healthcare access, as evidenced by their support for initiatives like including adult dental coverage in Maryland Medicaid.

Terrible. Will not be coming back. Was on hold for 10 minutes to schedule an appointment until someone hung up the phone. . so I called again and they hung up on me again. . called a 3rd time and a rude girl answered like I was bothering her.

. and was giving me an attitude. Can’t ever schedule an appointment with these people because it takes like a year just to get an appointment. . they can’t schedule at all! They have no clue what they are even doing. Just awful.

I'm a little unhappy with them honestly. I went to get some work done and some of that happened until it come time for me to completely be finished and phone call after call and being on the if some body cancelled we will call you weeks turned to months. Well I called almost 2 weeks ago and then I'm told my grant expired and I can't get my teeth or anything done til I get a new grant. . Boy that put fire thru me. .

. Most of the workers are nice and some what helpful. I'm working on getting my work finished so I can be done bc it's stressful. So stay on them to get all you need to be done. You call them don't listen to oh someone will call you on such n such date n time no you call them email and leave voice messages if you have to get what you need done.

probably one of the worst dentist office I've ever been to. I'm not sure if it's because it's a dentist office based on a sliding scale or what it is but they're unbelievably unprofessional they actually only people that have any class or respect or a few of the technicians in the back. I'm the young ladies behind the desk up front. the actual dentist doesn't seem to know her head from a hole in the wall.

it seems like they're only worried about making profit at the sacrifice of the patient. I went in their mouth bleeding and they were like oh well horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend taking my dog there to get their teeth looked at. thank God I get real dental insurance soon
