My dentist had retired and I put off looking for a new one until I had a terrible toothache. I called Chestnut Dental and they took me the next day. As soon as I walked into the office the staff was very welcoming. They introduced themselves to me. It was like walking into a friendly gathering.

Dr. Horchos found the problem and sent me for a root canal the next day. Everything worked out fine. It was a pleasant experience.

Our family loves Chestnut Dental. The hygenist took the time to reteach my 9 year old how to floss. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful, and great at what they do. We love Doc!!! Highly recommend.

My family has been coming to Chestnut Dental for 13 some years. I can’t imagine going any where else. I have extreme dental anxiety and Dr. Horchos and his team take such great care of me. Nothing but paatience and empathy when I’m at my worst. They take the time to go over and explain, in detail, my treatment plans and the best way to proceed financially.

They NEVER do more work than what is necessary (I’m sure many people know exactly what I mean by that statement. ) and the work performed is nothing but the best. Great music is always playing and Dr. Horchos has a pretty decent singing voice 😊. Can’t say enough great things about this practice.

I was a client here for nearly a decade. The experience was much more personal and wholesome when they were in Coatesville. Moving to Downingtown made it less personable where you felt more like a number at every visit. Especially with the recent front desk staff changes. I miss the old crew. The new crew cancels your appointment if you're 15 minutes late due to unforeseen traffic.

They will easily email you your dental records once you tell them you'll be moving on - discarded like an "insurance cow" that has been milked enough. The hygienists are competent and what you'd expect. The doctor does good work and I can't complain there, but his style and approach is very "whimsical" at times and can come off as rude if you're not expecting it. A bit of a mad scientist vibe, but I suppose that's not a terrible thing. In any case, thanks for the help over the years, but it's time for me and my family to move on after my last appointment was canceled as I was walking in the door. Cheers!
