I had an incredibly comfortable- awesome experience with a chipped front tooth repair performed by Dr. Jay at Danta Dental. The staff at Danta walked me through the procedure and made me feel at ease every step of the way. Dr. Jay is a dental wizard and repaired the chipped front teeth with flawless precision.
It is like it never happened. My wife couldn't believe it. Dr. Jay took the repair straight to the hoop for the win and brought my smile back to life! I highly recommend Danta Dental to anyone looking for a nice cozy office experience coupled with a talented staff and excellent dentist in Dr Jay!

The Danta Dental team was amazing! They did such a great job on my cleaning. I’d recommend them to anyone seeking dental treatment in Philadelphia.

Is 10/5 ⭐️s an option? For them, I wish! I live in CA and while visiting Philadelphia I had a dental emergency. Since I don’t live in the area, I had to lean on google reviews to find trustworthy dental offices and that’s what led me to Danta Dental, and wow am I so glad it did! THEY SAVED ME!! Fully knowing that they are not an emergency dental clinic, when I called they got me in the same day and were fully understanding! Dr.
Jay took his time to help me and even stayed well after office hours on his own personal time to accommodate me. I felt so valued and important!! The entire staff made me feel comfortable even with my high dental anxiety.
I have never experienced a dentist or their team caring so about both me and my teeth as much as Dr Jay and his team. My husband and I joked that we should move to Philadelphia with this kind of treatment! If you live in the area, this is a dentist I would HIGHLY recommend!!! Truly wonderful experience! If I come back to visit, I’m definitely checking back in with this team!

Now that I have gotten a couple of opinions from other dentists, I feel comfortable enough to leave a review (something I rarely do). I want to preface, I might be an outlier amongst Danta Dental's clients so I am only going to share my personal experience. My first meeting with Dr Jay was totally fine and I felt quite comfortable, I felt like he was very empathetic. It was clear I had a lot of work that needed to get done and we mapped out all future appointments. The first fillings I got went well and he actually fixed a front tooth where my enamel was weakened from braces. I loved the outcome, however I want to note that he never actually told me he was doing it. I let it slide because I was happy with it and appreciated the gesture. I had 2-3 more visits after this that did not go as well. I felt like he was rushing to get me in and out as fast as possible and didn't spend much time going over what was being worked on that day.
A lot of the fillings felt rough, he did fix one but that was after I had pointed it out to him. One of the reasons I didn't feel that I needed to point out how rough the fillings were was because I honestly didn't know how they were supposed to feel and my instinct was to trust it was all fine. After the 3rd visit I noticed that two of my front teeth had little scrapes/cuts on them from the tools used, the other dentists I visited also pointed this out to me. Getting the fillings reviewed by the other dentists, they both concluded the the fillings were rough and sloppy (not all the fillings but most). My last visit was the reason I never went back. After the visit he said "there's a little-almost rug burn on your lip, just make sure to keep that clean for a few days so it can heal". I didn't think much of it, the hygienist took the dental bib off and I checked out. I went to the bathroom to check on the "rug burn" and not only had I left the office with blood on my cheek, chin and shirt (not one person cleaned me up or pointed it out before I left), but it looked like a had a decent chunk of my under lip and inside of my lip scraped off and it was actively bleeding (keep in mind I was numb and could not feel it when I left the appointment). I was so upset and disappointed, I did not want to go back into the office.
Within hours my lip and cheek swelled. I experience discomfort for nearly a week after and was left with a scar/scar tissue on my lip that I can still see/feel after nearly 8 months. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience for me. I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist, though I tend to trust doctors because they know what they are doing and they know best. I didn't feel the need to question it, but looking back I definitely should have, maybe it would have resulted in a better outcome. Unfortunately with teeth, there's no going back and I am left with the work that needs to get done and lots of money already spent. There was a lack of communication, the work was not done well and I am left feeling even more anxiety about dentists. If you take away anything from this review, please remember to ask as many questions as possible, make sure you know the scope of work, how it's going to be done, etc etc.
