I cannot say enough good things about Digital Dentistry and Dr. Azin Ghesmati in particular. Everything about this practice is top-notch—from the ease of scheduling appointments to the incredibly welcoming office staff, the exceptional skill of the practitioners, and the modernity of the equipment. I have come to this practice for a range of dental work and have always left extremely satisfied. But what I value most is the incredible compassion and humanity. When my husband was diagnosed with cancer and needed to start chemotherapy immediately, Dr.

Ghesmati literally cleared her schedule to provide extensive, urgent dental care for complex issues, ensuring he could begin treatment right away without the risk of underlying infections. At a time of overwhelming anxiety, Dr. Ghesmati's kindness and dedication made all the difference, and I will forever be grateful to her. I’ve been super impressed with Dr Azin Ghesmati on my recent visits. First, she took time to introduce herself to me after my cleaning (new hygienist Maryam is also fab) to tell me a bit about her experience and explain what to expect with the practice transition. My first scheduled visit with her, a molar Dr. Cobb previously tagged for treatment, was thorough and painless—complete with a detailed explanation of the procedure and ample opportunity to ask questions. Nothing was rushed, not before, during, or after. It became clear that Dr Ghesmati cares about patient comfort and takes pride in her work.

Dr Ghesmati proved even more impressive when my next cleaning suggested a simmering infection beneath the gum. A CT scan (who knew?), root canal, extraction, and temporary bridge later, and I’m still a fan. She exhibited the same professional traits mentioned above and then some. Her tech savvy and research awareness keep her on the cutting edge of the industry. No doubt she made a difficult surgical procedure much easier on me. I left with her card and personal cell phone number.

She rang the next day to see check in on me. As a longtime patient of Dr. Cobb, I had my doubts about ever finding a dentist who shared his skilled, careful consideration and gentle chair-side manner. I couldn’t be more pleased that he found her for me in welcoming Dr. Azin Ghesmati to Chevy Chase Digital Dentistry.
