I am not one to complain. I thought that I could trust Dr Chips. Dont let his happy go lucky demeanor fool you. I had gotten my dental implant after dealing with health issues. They were put it around Covid. Due to so many restrictions it was difficult to visit as much as I had needed. The main issue could never fully be addressed. The issue being that the dental pieces never fit in my mouth, therefore never stayed in. They would still fit me in but instead of ever fixing the issues they merely masked them. I was reassured several times that it would be taken care of. I believed him because of how much I liked him as a person. I had been to the office endlessly just to get the snap band pieces replaced. He filed the parts, toyed, and tinkered with them but again never properly fit the pieces in my mouth. I had told him of all of these issues from the start. He would pretend to address it. I said pretend because he would reassure me he knew what needed done, but then never did anything to fix the issue. He is well aware that if I sneeze, the pieces literally fly out of my mouth. Again, this was immediate. They didnt fly out of my mouth the first day but they did within a week.

Just because they didnt fly out doesnt mean that they clicked in. The issue was pushed due to Covid, empty promises, and me feeling bad for both myself and Dr Tim Chips. I felt bad because this is embarrassing in ways I cannot explain. I felt bad for Dr Chips because of liking his personality. Noone wants to have to go through this. To pay a larger amount than many dentists just to continually go through terrible pain, endless driving back and forth (over an hour away, and yes he knows this), and having to miss work/school. He assured me that I would be happy with the end result. I have communication through the years of me explaining how they dont fit properly. After so much time of being assured all will work out, they then sent me a bill for bands to the dentures. Yes it had been two years since I had them done but they were never done properly. At each and every appointment I spoke of this and he said it would be fixed. The bands are meant to hold them in place better. Bands that only help with paste to keep them in. Bands and dentures that never stayed snug in my mouth for more than an hour. I can tell you never once did I say I was happy or even satisfied. His merry attitude misled me into believing he would do whats right and keep his word. I paid just under a half of a hundred grand. I never got what I paid for. Yet, they sent me a bill for bands.

Which that day Im being billed for they didnt even have the right size bands. I had to have the next size (one that doesnt hold properly). Regular dentures wouldve been better. The implant posts have rubbed on the denture since day one. My gums have receded from constant pain from this rubbing. I cant cough or sneeze without both pieces literally flying out of my mouth. I look like I have a chew in my mouth 24/7. This has changed my outlook on life and self-esteem in ways I wish for noone. Its wrong. It took me a long time to finally write this. I am so embarrassed, I prefer not to tell people. The idea was that people wouldnt realize my teeth because they were meant to stay in; look and feel great. I cry everyday. I do not wish or want this to happen to you. If you like you can message me and I will send you more info, pictures, etc. Shame on Dr Chips and his practice. Oh I forgot, the post and arch he placed in my mouth wasnt even properly placed. Now my smile is crooked and teeth do not align AT ALL! Which isnt half as bad as them shooting out of my mouth but REALLY!?

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Lutfiie and the team at Chips Dental. I moved to the area recently, and I saw Dr. Lutfiie as a second opinion after a different dental practice surprised me by recommending a crown along with 4 fillings despite any apparent symptoms. When I met Dr.

Lutfiie she listened carefully, meticulously reviewed the X-rays I brought from the other practice, and after her exam informed me that I only had one small cavity to fill! When I returned for the filling, the procedure was smooth and quick. This practice is the real deal. In my experience, they performed the absolute minimum intervention and treatment even though I was a captive audience who would have blindly agreed to more extensive (and expensive!) procedures. I'm very grateful for the skilled and ethical care I received. My entire family has already switched over to Chips!

My favorite dentist in Pittsburgh. No one likes going to the dentist, but I have to say all 3 doctors here are amazing. I have had all 3 doctors and they truly care about you. I absolutely love Dr Lutfiie. She is amazing.

She takes her time explaining everything and seeing what’s the best thing for your teeth and always always try’s to save the tooth and I absolutely love that about her. Everything I have ever got done by her always turned perfect with no complaints or any problems. So happy I found this place. I definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Hands-down, my favorite dentist experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Dunn is absolutely amazing and very friendly. I don’t recall the dental Assistance’s name, but she was very friendly as well. If you’re in the North Hills area don’t visit one of their locations.

You’re doing yourself a disservice. They are very accommodating with my busy schedule. Thank you guys again for getting me an on short notice.
