Her strong work ethic and success are attributed to her family upbringing; she is one of seven children from a family that immigrated from the Czech Republic. She currently resides in Churchville with her husband, Dr. Matthew Valerio (also a UB Dental School classmate), and their three daughters. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Valerio enjoys baking, gardening, and volunteering in her local church and school community.
