Detailed Introduction

The Clinton County community dental clinic is a vital non-profit organization located at 266 Hogan Blvd #6, Mill Hall, PA 17751. Established to address the critical need for accessible and Affordable dental care in rural Clinton County, Pennsylvania, and its surrounding communities, the clinic plays a significant role as a "safety net" provider. Their primary mission is to offer comprehensive and compassionate dental services to individuals who may otherwise struggle to access care, including low-income residents, those without dental insurance, and patients covered by Medical Assistance, Medicare, and CHIP programs. For uninsured individuals, the clinic utilizes a sliding fee scale based on household income, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent essential dental treatment. The clinic provides a wide range of dental services, including but not limited to: Preventive Care: Dental exams, cleanings, and X-rays are foundational to their approach, aiming to maintain optimal oral health and prevent more serious issues. They also engage in community outreach, visiting schools and daycares to educate children on proper dental hygiene, and offer free oral health fairs for senior citizens. Diagnostic Services: Thorough examinations and imaging help identify problems like cavities, tooth decay, and impacted teeth. Restorative Procedures: This includes fillings to treat cavities, simple extractions, and more complex procedures like crowns, bridges, and dentures. Advanced Technology: The clinic has invested in modern equipment such as diode lasers, which offer less invasive treatment, immediate hemostasis, rapid healing, and reduced swelling for patients. The Clinton County Community Dental Clinic is staffed by a dedicated team of dentists and hygienists, who regularly attend continuing education seminars to stay updated on the latest dental techniques. They collaborate with educational institutions like Pennsylvania College of Technology's hygiene program and PCI's assistant program, contributing to the development of future dental professionals. As a non-profit, the clinic relies on support and grants from organizations like the Clinton County Community Foundation to continue its critical work and acquire necessary equipment to enhance patient care. Their commitment to the community extends beyond the clinic walls through active public outreach initiatives focused on promoting oral health awareness.

Just had a horrible experience here. I agreed to let the Penn students in training clean my teeth and was told it would take longer than usual. The two girls in training we friendly. They took my X-Rays and one of them started cleaning my teeth. She was doing a good job, just really slow, which is understandable. I told her I was getting a little anxious. She continued on for another 10 minutes or so. Roughly 20 minutes in, she had cleaned maybe 6 teeth.

I told her I was gonna have to stop cause my anxiety was too high. I apologized to her and asked her not to take it personal. She was very sweet and completely understood. At this point the lady that was overseeing them came in and I told her I was very anxious cause of the slow pace. She went to the front desk and told Jody what was going on. At this point I blamed nobody, wasn’t upset with anybody, I just needed to get out of the chair. Jody comes in and verbally attacks me! Saying that I wasted everyone’s time and I was being very disrespectful. She kept telling me that she had warned me it would be a little slow.

She did warn me, BUT I tried my best to get through it, even though I was getting really anxious. I got to the point I just couldn’t continue. There were lots of people around hearing me being verbally abused by Jody. Making me look like a total jerk. I’ve never been so disrespected in a professional environment in my life. Jody should not be permitted to speak to any patient in this rude and aggressive manner for no reason whatsoever. Needless to say, I’ll never step foot into that office again and I would be very happy if she was fired, before she unleashes her evil on another innocent patient.

Absolutely the worst place!!! Very rude and inconsiderate for people with severe anxiety of the dentist! Continuing to do work when you tell them you can still feel everything….. do better and get some employees that actually care!

Dr. Pect DDS does amazing work! I initially scheduled a cleaning and to get a few teeth worked on and by far I am absolutely pleased with the results! I see some negative reviews from other but can honestly say for a local dentist office, they keep it straight up with you and do their job well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Terrible people, hygienist has no empathy and should not be in a career dealing with people’s well being. Talked over me the whole time and was rude, should consider a new career path. Felt like they are on a power trip controlling people just trying to get dental care. Most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. Would rate zero out of five if I could.
