My personal experience as a new patient is that my hygienist was awkward and possibly inexperienced. Additionally, I was talked into an Xray I didn’t really need, not covered with the protective apron, and after the fact found out it was not covered by insurance. To add insult to injury I didn’t even get my teeth cleaned because they said I needed an expensive de-scaling that I refused because my previous dentist never recommended and if insurance won’t pay that’s another warning sign it might not be necessary.

The whole office seemed set-up to run like a factory and I am still looking for a small dental practice close to my work.

I've been going to this location for almost 4 years now. Most of the hygienist have been great and both Dr. Ian and the former Dentist Dr. Jindel, were outstanding! However the front desk at this place continues to be a headache each and every appointment. I have had them at least 3, if not more occasions, call a couple of weeks before my appointment, to let me know their office was going to be closed and that they needed to reschedule me to a different day. 2 of those times it was pushed back a month out and a major inconvenience.

I endured, as because I previously mentioned I like the dentist they have had. However today was the straw that broke the camels back. I got a phone call the day before my appointment, about a hour and half before they closed, saying I had an issue with my insurance. I spent 20 minutes talking to my HR manager and calling the insurance company and turned out I had no issue on my end. I called back and Brooke said yeah I was just about to reach out (convenient) to say you're good to go and we'll see you tomorrow, sorry for the confusion. I then show up to my appointment the next day and low and behold they waste about 25 minutes of my appointment time! Saying there's an insurance issue delaying my cleaning.

Pretty obvious that this Brooke that called the day before didn't fix anything that was wrong on their end from the start! I have no idea what's going on over there but I can say that after going here for almost 4 years I have rarely seen the same staff working behind that desk and it's been nothing but issues of rescheduling, and insurance issues on their end that have even resulted in overcharging time and time again. Resulting in credits or refunds given. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache this front desk constantly gives.

Amazing staff! With a family of five, they made it easy to get all of us cleaned up and same day accommodation for an unexpected dental need for my husband. The most comforting feeling was not feeling pushed for any additional expenses or treatments we were not planning on. All the staff was so friendly. Wait was minimal with appointments scheduled.

Coal Mountain Dental was wonderful in helping us during an unexpected emergency. My son had an accident at school and chipped his tooth pretty badly. They got us in quickly and took great care of him, making sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.

The staff was kind, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire process. His tooth looks great! I truly appreciate their prompt attention and excellent service. Highly recommend them for anyone in need of quality dental care!
