Coal Region Dental operates under the name Owens Dentistry, a well-established dental clinic serving the Shamokin and Coal Township, Pennsylvania, area. Founded in 2006 by Dr. J.C. Owens, a local graduate of Mt. Carmel Area JR/Sr High School and New York University College of Dentistry, the practice initially began in a defunct dental office on Independence Street before moving to its current facility in 2017 at 184 State Route 2026, Coal Township, PA 17866. They also have a location at 21 E Independence St, Shamokin, PA 17872. Owens Dentistry is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, high-quality dental services with a focus on personalized patient care. They offer a comprehensive range of treatments, including general dentistry, cosmetic procedures like Invisalign, veneers, and teeth whitening, restorative options such as crowns, bridges, fillings, and dentures, and preventative care including cleanings, checkups, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
