Just the facts. *I lost a filling in Early March of '22. I called to make an appt as a new patient. *The soonest they could get me in was July6(yes,a 4 month wait!) The tooth later broke and had to be removed locally. I kept his appt anyway. *On July 6, his hygienist scraped a tiny bit of plaque and took countless X-rays(should all have been paid in full by my dental insurance) . Mr Karas came in, said I needed some dental work, and suggested I come back July 20 for a "consultation". I guess he didn't feel he had time to talk to me at the time. *On July 20 he had his hygienist take countless more X-rays. Mr Karas came in and his "consultation" was simply: "Get evaluated by an oral surgeon and see if your a candidate for an implant". He gave me the name of his preferred surgeon and a couple of others. *I looked up the surgeon and called, only to find out they won't make an appt unless Karas's office sends over X rays and a referral. * I called and eventually managed to contact Karas's office, who promised to send them over.

Over the next 6 weeks I made 40+ calls. Some to the surgeon to see if they received anything, most calls were to Karas's office. Karas's office no longer answers their phone, returns calls, or follows up on voicemail requests. *I finally got through only to have Karas's office tell me they already sent them. . . to a doctor I've never even heard of. They promised to send it to the doc they referred me to in the first place, I'd had enough. I gave up on all of them. *I first called in early March. It's now September. My second and last visit was for his "consultation" in July. On 10/31 I got a bill for $135.

00. It was issued 10/11, No reason noted for the bill. I received it 10/31 but it was due 10/29. Perhaps it was for his "consultation" which I had to skip work to attend. *Both my G. F. and her adult son signed up roughly the same time I did. They had very similar results. Karas has never touched their teeth either. They finally gave up as well.
