I really can't recommend. 2.7 review kinda tells it all. I went to get my tooth pulled and ended up paying $230 for a 10min apt and single tooth X-ray. they referred me to another department where they are booked out until next year. I ended up filling a complaint with NYC.gov

I came in to be assessed for oral surgery and was initially told that if my face wasn’t visually swollen and there was no infection, they couldn’t help me right away. Next appt was two weeks away. Then she suggested I go to the emergency dept. to see if that can get me in sooner. I did that and waited 3 hours for a PA to scan my mouth for 10 seconds.

After that I went back w my discharge paperwork and was x-rayed and told that I would benefit greatly from a second x-ray but that it would cost $400, plus a separate fee in the hundreds if I wanted to be sedated for my procedure. If you have Medicaid I suggest you run FAR from this place. You will either risk having your nerves damaged or come out pocket almost $1k. Oh and attending doc suggested breaking half the tooth instead as a way to go around the $400 fee 😂😂😂 truly laughable. Also state of facilities at Columbia is at a -5.

Patients in the ER can be seen filling their needles and entering the bathroom to shoot up. . nothing against people who suffer from substance abuse issues but the standard of excellence at NYP is nonexistent. Security yelling at patients. Truly a nightmare

Got my wisdom tooth pulled out. My appointment from start to finish was exceptional! Although I was nervous at first they made me feel welcomed and at ease. The xray was easy and PAIN FREE and not at all unpleasant. The tooth extraction itself was very quick. Highly recommend this place!
