Detailed Introduction

Comfort Dental is a prominent dental franchise established in 1977 by Dr. Rick Kushner, D.D.S. Headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, it has grown to encompass over 150 independently owned and operated dental offices spread across 10 states in the United States. The core mission of Comfort Dental is to make high-quality dental care both accessible and affordable for patients of all ages. The services offered by Comfort Dental are comprehensive and cater to a wide range of dental needs. These typically include general dentistry services such as routine dental exams, professional cleanings, fillings (including mercury-safe and mercury-free options), crowns, and bridges. Beyond general care, many Comfort Dental locations also provide cosmetic dentistry (e.g., teeth whitening, veneers), orthodontics (including Invisalign), dental implants, and oral surgery like wisdom tooth extractions. They emphasize patient comfort, often offering options like nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and topical anesthesia for a more relaxed experience. A key aspect of Comfort Dental's business model is its commitment to affordability and accessibility. They accept most insurance plans and are notably one of the largest dental Medicaid providers. For patients without insurance, they offer an exclusive "Gold Plan" savings membership, which provides discounted rates on various services. To accommodate busy schedules, many Comfort Dental offices offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and Saturdays. They also provide language services and interpreters to ensure clear communication with diverse communities. Beyond their clinical services, Comfort Dental is known for its community involvement. Since 1984, they have organized "Care Day," where Comfort Dental franchisees offer free dental care on Christmas Day. In recent years, they have also launched "Comfort Dental Shares," a community initiative aimed at helping children, veterans, and families. The company's focus on patient comfort, affordability, and community engagement has contributed to its widespread presence and reputation in the dental industry. Each office is independently owned and operated by licensed dentists who have chosen to be part of the Comfort Dental franchise.

This place is a waste of time, the only part that was worth it was the xrays because i needed updated ones. They barely performed the cleaning, they only focused on the easy part to see (my front teeth) when using the scraping tool to remove tartar. They missed so many spots when they brushed at my cleaning, completely half assed it. They also didnt even floss my teeth.

Mind you, the entire time theyre all standing around me (all men) talking and laughing listening to loud music and showing eachother stuff on their phones. I was uncomfortable because i was used to nice dentist offices. And the dentist himself was very loudly critical and judgmental of the injury i had on my lip, which was weird. But my sister went here before me and said the dentist is sarcastic/rude so i guess i got the same guy as her.

They also had me wait like 50 minutes to get called back at my scheduled appointment which i think is why my appointment was so horrible, i think they were rushing to go to lunch. But thats not my problem and its their duty to take proper care of my teeth. Will not be coming back.

I went there and saw Dr. Delbert early December for a crown. After that visit my tooth was very sensitive and hurt constantly while I had the temporary on. When I went back to get the permanent crown seated I told them that it was hurting keeping me up at night and throbbing, and I thought that it needed a root canal .

They told me that it was normal to be sensitive and seated the permanent crown anyway Now I am four weeks out of getting my crown seated, and my tooth is hurting really bad I can’t eat or drink anything When I called and asked for medication or where to go to get a root canal. They got belligerent and ghetto on me and kicked me out of the practice. When all I wanted was out of pain they wouldn’t help me! This practice is a joke, full of people only out to make money! They don’t care about anything else! I wouldn’t recommend them to my dog!!

I went to get my teeth checked a few days ago and had to wait almost an hour just sitting on the dental chair. swore I could’ve taken a nap while I was there. and finally when the Dr comes over, he was sooo harsh working on my teeth, my bottom teeth were stinging still after 30 minutes I left. he’s careless. even wore a mask, but what was the point? he didn’t even wear it properly, just below his nose and I had to smell his breathing. So gross, especially how closely he was working. and when I had to get a clean up, the lady was sweet, don’t get me wrong, but she did an awful job cleaning my teeth.

It was rushed. I could still taste blood in my mouth because she didn’t even clean properly. She sprayed some water and after about 30 seconds, she said I was fine and ready to go. Hello??? My gums were still bleeding and AGAIN, my bottom teeth stung sooo badly. I even went home to wash out the blood that was left in my mouth and did an even better job than her. Ridiculous.

I have been a patient here for a few years and they have completely changed my teeth. But thats not the reason for the review, I'm writing this as a thank you. A sincere thank you, my husband went to have his teeth done and they were pretty bad.

He came home and after the novocain wore off he smiled at me; with his teeth! He has NEVER done that for as long as we have been married (I've known him 9 years we've been married 8). He even told me last night that he felt "better" ; like he feels more confident and more like a person again and that I want to thank the entire staff for
