Detailed Introduction

The Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) is a non-profit organization established in 1983 with a mission to provide high-quality, affordable primary healthcare to the diverse community of Snohomish County, particularly those facing barriers to healthcare. The Lynnwood clinic, located at 4111 194th St SW # 101, Lynnwood, WA 98036, is one of several CHC locations dedicated to this mission. CHC offers a wide range of integrated services, including comprehensive medical care (general physical exams, preventative care, chronic condition management, pediatrics, family practice, prenatal care, walk-in clinics), dental services, behavioral health services (for common mental disorders and addiction issues, including Suboxone and Vivitrol prescriptions), pharmacy services (with lower-priced prescriptions and direct communication between providers and pharmacists), and physical therapy. They also provide nutrition information, immunizations, contraception, well-baby care, and pregnancy testing. A core tenet of CHC is patient-centered care, emphasizing a holistic approach that considers the "whole you" – mind and body. They are committed to providing care that respects individual values, cultures, and preferences, and offer interpreter services for diverse language needs. CHC aims to make healthcare accessible to everyone. They accept various insurance plans, including Washington Apple Health, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Tricare, and select private insurances. For uninsured patients, they assist with Washington Apple Health enrollment and offer a sliding fee discount program based on household income and family size. This commitment extends to their community outreach programs, serving local shelters and individuals experiencing homelessness. While they provide extensive services, they are unable to provide services for L&I claims regardless of other insurance. The Lynnwood clinic provides both scheduled appointments and walk-in options for medical care. Their dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including providers, medical assistants, registered nurses, dental hygienists, and pharmacists, work collaboratively to deliver compassionate and efficient care.

Second worst dental visit of my life (after the first that gave me dental anxiety to begin with. ) Not much communication of either pre or post op instructions from 2 wisdom teeth and a molar out. Had to point out prior emails to get the bare minimum prescription painkiller. The gas DOES NOT WORK. No reduction in pain or anxiety.

I was shaking and crying the whole procedure. Dentist felt cold and disaffected. Still crying an hour later. Harrowing to say the least.

The way they treat their black patience is disgusting. They don't give you medicine, and if you ask they refuse. Never in my life have a ever had a tooth pulled the way one of the Mexican ladies pulled my tooth. She was so insensitive, I told her several times that I could feel everything, she straight up told me "There's nothing I can do I've given you as much numbing as I could" I was obviously showing signs of pain, my legs in the air, I'm crying.

Tried to tell them that Tylenol has no effect on me, and she prescribed it anyway. So I spent the next 4 days in extreme pain with no medicine, because unfortunately I'm allergic to over the counter pain meds. I'm sure she was in training or just a terrible doctor, because as soon as she left her assistant started apologizing and recommended that I get myself an "Actual doctor" She also recommended Sea Mar and I've been going there ever since and the people are so nice and actually caring. They also pick and choose who will be their patience and can refuse you regardless if they are able to take more people.

This place is very corrupted.

If I could give zero, I would. I went here for years as a kid/early teen and had a filling done there around 6 years ago. The filling FELL OUT and I went back to get it fixed. They refilled it and ever since then, I’ve had chronic nerve pain 24/7.

Now, I might have to get a root canal because of the poor dental work I was provided. I’d avoid this dental clinic, the ones in Everett are much better.

Made an appointment arrived 3 minutes late due to traffic, on New Years Eve, only 1 patient sitting in the lobby and was told I cannot be seen only to complete a health records form based on last physical.
