Let me set the scene for anyone in search of a fantastic, above and beyond dentist that cares. I moved from California to Chicago 4 months ago. I’m one of those unlucky people that struggle with dental issues and emergencies often. My dental implant crown has just detached and I’m freaking out at 1am on thanksgiving and I'm frantically searching for a solid dentist in the area. I found Dr. Brandon Prusa through my insurance website and his reviews looked awesome.

I left a message on his emergency line (keep in mind, I’m not even his patient yet), fully assuming I’d hear back from someone Friday or so. Dr. Brandon called me at 1:45am on THANKSGIVING DAY to assure me my situation would be okay, not to panic and will get me scheduled asap. I immediately felt like I was going to be in good hands and have found my Chicago dentist! I cannot thank him enough and I’ll follow up this review after the appointment. What an absolute angel!

I was given a 5:15 appointment on short notice for a cracked tooth. Dr Hoffman and Kelly stayed late to do a crown procedure. Extremely kind and caring the whole time. Anjie is the glue that keeps it all together.

I was referred to Dr. Hoffman by a friend after having an unsavory experience at another dentist after moving to Chicago. Dr. Hoffman and his staff provided a judgment-free environment focused on delivering clinically necessary care. I was not pressured into expensive and unnecessary care. I wasn't lied to about the condition of my oral health. Rather, I was educated on the areas of concern about my oral health. Dr.

Hoffman took the time to discuss ways to combat the progression of my oral diseases to prevent further, more invasive measures -- and he did so without guilting or shaming. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. The office is clean, and while it is not as modern as some other dental clinics, I felt that the standard of care was just as good. More importantly, I didn't feel like I was being taken for a ride. If you want honest, quality care without being taken for a ride, look no further than Compass Dental. I look forward to returning.

I've never had great teeth but, with a medical condition that began with an ER visit almost a year ago, a lot of routines became disrupted by chronic pain, rapid weight loss, decreased motor function and fatigue. So even after losing a crown I couldn't cope with a dental visit. Then my dentist at the time wanted to push me off to a specialist without even seeing me. So I decided to see my husband's dentist at Compass and went this week. It was the most comfortable - even relaxing treatment. Even with built up placque and some distressed gums, the cleaning was not painful.

My mouth felt great afterwards. X-rays were not at all uncomfortable. My previous experiences were always painful - biting down on something with what felt like metal stabbing my inner cheek. From my appointment at Compass I came away relaxed and reassured. Thank you!
