I seriously can’t say enough good things about my experience at Contemporary Dentistry of East Lansing. I’ve had anxiety about going to the dentist for as long as I can remember, and I put off finding a new one for longer than I should’ve. From the moment I walked in, Alexis was so kind and welcoming. She made my first appointment so calm and comfortable. You can tell they genuinely care. At my second appointment, Erica was so helpful with my fillings and aftercare—I really felt like I was in great hands.

Dr. Mahnoor is incredible. I came in feeling pretty anxious, but she took the time to explain everything to me, making sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Her gentle approach and calming demeanor really put me at ease. She never made me feel judged for putting off my visit and went above and beyond by creating a detailed treatment plan and making sure I fully understood it. Karen was also incredibly helpful when it came to finances and insurance.

She broke everything down for me and made the whole process so much less stressful. I really appreciated her patience and willingness to answer all of my questions. I’m so grateful for this team. They turned what I thought would be a stressful experience into something that actually felt manageable—and even pleasant! I can’t recommend them enough!!

I’m never been a fan of the dentist 🦷 office but all of staff at Contemporary Dentistry makes you feel welcome, cared for, and safe. They really take care of you to easy any anxiety and also make sure you understand how, why, and what they are doing.

I can’t recommend Contemporary Dentistry enough! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with lovely decor that feels clean without being sterile or intimidating. The service is fast, and the up-to-date technology gives me a lot of confidence in the care I’m getting. I have a lot of anxiety about dental work and hadn’t been in over eight years, but the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They listened, explained each step clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.

Everyone is friendly, professional, and truly goes out of their way to make the experience as easy as possible. Thanks to their care and understanding, going to the dentist feels much less overwhelming now. I’m really grateful to have found such a great team!
