Did this place get sold? Had an apt scheduled today place looks closed from the outside. Walked in didn’t recognize a single face. It was empty nobody in there but the “workers”. I check in and they tell me they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t answer my phone call? Since when? They’ve always texted me.

And even if I didn’t respond they’d never just cancel. Again there are zero people being seen it’s dead quiet. Unprofessional as hell. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere!

I was very disappointed with the former owner, Dr. G. , and how they handled business. No phone call, email, text- ghosted their clients.

I called to make a follow-up appointment after being referred to a specialist and the new team was not very welcoming. I had to search for a new clinic and do the whole new patient routine. So not happy about it, especially with dental concerns that was already planned.

I agree with everything everyone is saying. I overheard someone say new ownership in the lobby, I think crystal lake went WAY downhill very quickly. My wife had a wonderful experience about a year ago. Text reminder, friendly staff, timely appointment. For me a month ago I had to be rescheduled, went to my appointment on time and they said they tried to contact me and couldn't to reschedule again. I asked what number they used and it was not my number. .

. . even though the previous request to reschedule was using the correct number? Best of all, no apology and reiterating they tried to reach me WITH THE WRONG TELEPHONE NUMBER THAT THEY MESSED UP ON! Waited 45 minutes to have a dentist look at my teeth and ask I make 2 appointments, one to get an x-ray and one more cleaning appointment. I was stupid enough to actually try to get the x-ray done the next morning and the office was closed with no one there. Complete incompetent, toxic and unprofessional. So sad, please avoid.

Apparently the practice is under new ownership. No welcome note with my appointment reminder. No explanation at reception. No introduction from the new dentist. I walked into an 8am appointment to find the lobby empty, desk unstaffed and most of the lights off. An unfamiliar face told me to have a seat before a traveling hygienist took me back to an exam room.

She was friendly but there seemed to be some communication issues with the rest of the staff. The dentist briefly looked at my x-rays, told me to keep flossing and left the room without preforming a full exam. I understand dental practices change hands, but it's disconcerting to expect familiar faces and not find them at a small practice. I wish them well, but don't see a reason to return.
