I'm sad to say this dentistry is not what it used to be after one of the dentists retired and some of the hygienists left. I used to LOVE coming here. They would teach me things about my teeth I had never learned before, told me exactly what they were doing (and why) at every step, and loved answering questions. The team was friendly. When I expressed insecurity about my teeth and was considering orthodontics, the dentist told me I already had a beautiful smile. My last couple visits couldn't be more different. No more helpful info and the conversations weren't genuine. At my last visit: - I couldn't complete the form before they brought me back.

The front desk said that was OK. The dentist later said that it was absolutely not. Poor communication and protocol. - They took my blood pressure. I checked the numbers later and it was abnormally high. They didn't ask or say anything to me. - I asked about dental bonding, but couldn't quite remember the term - so I was paraphrased the concept. The dentist corrected me condescendingly and made me feel like I was an idiot.

The changes she said I would have to make seem totally unnecessary after doing more research. - I need a filling redone. Despite them saying "wow, this one is really falling apart," they can't get me in to redo it for another 6 months because they're so booked. Never had this issue. Hire more staff!! - When I asked for my latest records from the front desk because I'd like to go to another dentist after these experiences, the person on the phone was snippy.

I have always experienced highly capable, friendly, caring, and professional service at Crystal Springs Dental. This week, they outdid themselves! Six of my upper front teeth needed extensive work, due to severe wear much earlier in my life. Dr. Jenn's clear, easy-to-understand communication style made it easy for me to decide to have these teeth restored.

She and her wonderful assistant, Laurel, quickly had me relaxed and comfortable, even though I have worried about these teeth for years! The appointment was shorter than I had expected because of the amount of work to be done. Dr. Jenn and Laurel were very gentle, so much so that I felt no pain and was comfortable throughout. They were amazingly efficient and effective working together.

That kind of teamwork must take years to develop! I will soon be in the dental chair again, excited to see the esthetic results I have hoped for over the years. I recommend Crystal Springs Dental and Dr. Jenn to anybody looking for a top professional in general dentistry.
