Won't even take a phone call only text and refuse to let patients speak to dentist on phone or in person they permanently transfer patients out for requesting records transfers for referrals. After being told they can return. Worst experience ever!

I am so scared of the dentist! Once I met “Doc” Mabra and his staff, they made me feel so safe and relaxed. He took his time asking if this hurt or if that hurt, very concerned about my fears. THE BEST TIME AT THE DENTIST…EVER. We even broke out into a spontaneous song at the end.

I had to make a post about my experience because it really mattered to me to feel comfortable. Truly, I will be back for ALL my dental services. Thanks DOC AND STAFF!

Update 3/1/2024: Still my fave dentist! Been with him for about 15 yrs. My girls are now 14 and almost 17 and they love him. Original review: Been using him for almost 9 years now. Never had an issue with him or his staff. He's NEVER been rude to any of my family, has never questioned me going back with my 2 daughters (and I've never had to ask, either) ages 8 and 10. He's so great with both my girls, it's hard to imagine him yelling at anyone.

Also, being in the military, I have to have him fill out an official form every year to turn in to my mil dentist. He does it right, without question. He sometimes asks if it's okay to fax it, which gets faxed to me at the exact time he says it will. Very happy and will not be changing dentists anytime soon.

I took my 17 year old today as his regular dentist couldn’t get him in. The office was blistering hot - not sure why the a/c wasn’t on when it was 95 outside? The receptionist was friendly and she was also the dental tech. I was not allowed to go back and there is a sign on the door stating that Dr. Mabra is not to be disturbed, if he wants to talk to you he’ll come get you. Very odd. My son was in and out in 5 minutes for a cleaning!! He was brought out, I was told he was done and had no cavities.

Then the door was promptly shut. No x-rays were done and his gums were cut in a couple of spots. My son said the instruments looked old and the tubing was yellowish. He said Dr. Mabra was shaking a lot too.
