This was a very expensive nightmare. My old dentist was retiring so I called them as a new patient. Told them my insurance when I made an appointment and gave my card on arrival. Never once was told they do not accept it. They later said that it's *not their responsibility* to tell people they don't take their insurance. Anyway, I had a cleaning.

Was told I need tons of work on my teeth, multiple fillings redone, a root canal, a crown. I wondered if this was a cash grab since I tend to have good teeth. Called insurance and found out they're not in-network! I called the office just to at least get a quote for out of network rates. They wouldn't name any price but said they'd send me something in about 2 weeks. They also said they charge "barely more than my in network rates". (Turns out they charge more than double) Well the 2 weeks came and went so I called again.

Was told they never were even sending a quote! Then they sent me an email saying they refuse to ever have me again as a patient. On top of that, they refused to even give me my own xrays to take to a different dentist until I pay them the HUNDREDS I now owe for just a cleaning, which would have been no cost with insurance. So rude and uncaring. Just looking to scam money off people.

I haven't been to a dentist for over 25 years. My last dentist who went into the Air force as a colonel (dentist) and since then I have found it very difficult to trust anyone else, and I was a nervous wreck when I went to the DeGeorge family dental Care, but EVERYONE, from the front desk, to the hygienist, assistants, and the doctors, were able to put me at ease, and made me very comfortable! My experience has made me look forward to my visits. . .

. which is good since you can imagine what shape my teeth are in after 25 years of dental neglect! I recommend this group to anyone and everyone who asks me for a dentist.
