I have had appointments scheduled for over 5 months for both my kids then they call and tell me the provider is not there on that day anymore and I need to reschedule appointments I’ve had for my kids since October. The staff turnover is terrible and then when you call the office no one answers the phone! I’ve been trying to call and reschedule these appointments and can never get through. The service is definitely not the same as when they opened this location.

I would look elsewhere for a dentist.

I have used dental Associates for a long time and never had issues until this year. I started off with only needing a gum line filling and it started this nightmare. I went in to have the gum line filling done and the job she did was done so fast, was done within mins. No joke, mins!! She didn’t even numb me that good. I told her, I could feel some of it and she let up on the drill and told me she was almost done. The filling didn’t hold up, it fell out like 4 days later. I went back in, she refilled it! I left and once my mouth wasn’t numb anymore, I could feel the rough area where the filling and the tooth meet. It wasn’t smooth, I could feel the split between the two (bottom new filling and top part of the tooth) and it was rough to my tongue. At that point I was so upset and beside myself.

The holidays were near and I had so much stuff to do. I could not go back for an 3rd. Then one day, I felt part of the tooth chip off, it was part of the top part of the tooth that was still my tooth, where it was split from the filling. The half that wasn’t filled was now chipping. The filling only held up 2 months, that time. So I called and spoke with a manager and told her what was happening, she asked me to come back in and have them look at it to see what can be done and I told her I would like to see a different dentist, I was not happy with what was happening to my tooth! So I went in the new dentist (to me) explained that he would have to fix the filling that was breaking on the side and the top of the tooth part also had to be fixed to make it one filling! So it cost me MORE money, because now I had to pay for the top filling of the tooth, which had no problems before they started messing with the side. Ugh! But the way it was fixed, I lost almost half the tooth. Because the upper part that was breaking away, that was still tooth is now gone. Now it’s just a big slanted back molar.

They messed that tooth up so bad. 4 apts for that one tooth and I am left so heart broken over the final result. Over a gum lining filling! And to top it off, i have on and off daily gum pain. Ever since they started messing with that tooth. No clue if it’s from the filling falling out or the drilling hitting a nerve or a shot hitting a nerve or the work they did. I’m am SO heartbroken. I see Dr Kitzing for general dentist needs. She is a very caring and compassionate dentist. She includes you in your treatment decisions with the pros and cons in mind. I would highly recommend Dr Kitzing and Dental Associates in Franklin!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! They take very good care of their patients! Funny…my cleaning was so relaxing, Janet was great! Super quick too… I wish I could get my teeth cleaned every week! Lol 😆
