Detailed Introduction

Dental Care 24/7 is a specialized urgent dental care provider designed to address immediate dental needs, often operating with extended hours well beyond traditional dental practices, and offering 24/7 online virtual consultations. Their specific location in Atlanta, "Dental Care 24/7 Atlanta," is situated at 285 Centennial Olympic Park Dr NW Commercial Unit 2B, Atlanta, GA 30313, conveniently located near landmarks like the World of Coca-Cola and Children's Museum of Atlanta. The core philosophy of Dental Care 24/7 revolves around accessibility and immediate relief. They aim to provide prompt treatment for a wide range of dental emergencies, including but not limited to severe toothaches, broken teeth, lost fillings or crowns, gum disease treatment, and oral infections. Beyond emergencies, they also offer routine dental cleanings, restorative treatments, root canals, prosthodontic treatment, nightguards, and bite adjustments. A distinguishing feature of Dental Care 24/7 is its "out-of-network, direct-pay" model. This means they do not directly bill insurance companies. Instead, patients pay for services upfront, and Dental Care 24/7 provides the necessary paperwork for patients to submit to their dental insurance carriers for direct reimbursement. This model is touted to offer several benefits, including superior service delivery, more personalized and comprehensive care, and transparency in pricing, as it removes the constraints and paperwork associated with insurance company requirements. They aim to avoid unexpected bills for patients. While they are direct-pay, they do offer third-party financing options to help manage treatment costs. The Atlanta clinic, like others under the Dental Care 24/7 brand, emphasizes minimal wait times and a welcoming environment. They are committed to serving the greater Atlanta area, including surrounding communities such as Druid Hills, Gresham Park, East Point, College Park, and Constitution. The brand often highlights its ability to cater to patients without health insurance, offering accessible options for everyone. Their commitment to being open seven days a week, including holidays, underscores their dedication to providing care when traditional dental offices are closed.

Went here because I was having some tooth pain. All of the nurses was super helpful and nice. I have an extreme phobia of needles and they all were very supportive and made me feel safe. It's rare that you find doctor's office or urgent cares that's still have that compassion aspect. So I really appreciate what you guys do and how you treat your patience. Would highly recommend

Great service. Was in and out literally within 2 hrs for a tooth extraction. Simple and convenient to navigate through the whole experience. Great staff... we even shared a few laughs. The pricing was what i expected, but I'd definitely return if ever any future need.

Not affordable, lies on website, also, it says a payment plan that is false. You have to apply for 1 and you might not be approved, also the clinic is kind of ran like crap and everyone just doesn't want to be there so you get an attitude at the door it's 475 in extraction, none, including the $99 walk in fee plus they charge you full price for antibiotics when you can get them cheaper at a pharmacy.

Just go to Aspen dental everyone's way nicer, and it's much more affordable. And you actually get treated with respect, do yourself a favor and just go there

TL;DR - Don't make an appointment online. Call instead, or you will not get your intended appointment. Dentist is competent, but you will have to go through a lot of red tape before he will see you. Prepare to spend an entire day and your entire paycheck for emergency dental care here. Now for the long story: I had a broken tooth with an exposed nerve, it was really starting to hurt, and I was unable to find a dentist willing to see me within the next two weeks, which was what prompted me to seek treatment here. Last Tuesday, March 4, 2025, I made an appointment online for 1pm. I arrived early and was told the dentist would not be in until 6pm. I took public transportation, so I was pretty much stuck there until I could be seen; so there went my whole day.

I had lunch at a local pub and sat in a nearby library while I waited. I returned around 5pm to wait for the dentist to arrive. Having expected to be treated at 1pm and not having planned to eat lunch first, I did not bring a toothbrush, and one was not provided for me at the office; so I had to walk in with a dirty mouth. The initial "exam" was a written questionnaire, a blood pressure reading, and a single X-ray taken by the assistant, which set me back $99. She didn't look into my mouth, and she initially told me the dentist wouldn't speak to me. I was given the option to receive two injections of antibiotics and pain meds, along with prescriptions for oral medications, which I think set me back another $200. The dental assistant -- not the dentist -- went over prices and treatment options with me. Suspicious, I was about to walk away and seek treatment elsewhere.

Not until after I paid for the medication did the dentist agree to speak to me. As I couldn't find another dentist who would see me within the next two weeks, I agreed to get a root canal, which was fairly painless. I was told I would need to come back for a crown. The visit cost me $2200, not including the crown I would need. Dr. Hassan Marwan, the dentist, did a good job, and I will be seeing him in his regular office tomorrow to get a crown and continued dental care. I just wasn't happy with how the clinic is run.
