I tried to make an appointment with this office within the last few years and the morning of my appointment I woke up with a sinus infection (which, after going to a doctor, I found out was strep throat) and the receptionist i was communicating with "Kari" was communicating with me about my insurance information via text which i thought was rather unprofessional in my opinion since I was a new patient trying to get onboarded and didn't know anyone personally at this office and i was sending documentation via email anyway. I texted Kari since she was the one who created my appt initially at 8am the morning of the day of my appointment which was in the afternoon as soon as the office opened. I asked to reschedule for a different day but Kari proceeded to vaguely threaten me to pay $25 and even sent a bill to my house.

I understand if I didn't even call or show up but that was not the case. Regardless of this office's policy or not- it's diabolical to charge new or current patients to reschedule especially when they are sick while we are still living in a post-pandemic world. Do not go to dentist that tries to squeeze $25 out of you for trying to reschedule an appointment when you haven't even seen them as a patient.

A great way to lose a patient forever and who knows what else these scammers will charge once they're in your mouth and have access to your bank info!
