Detailed Introduction

Dental Dreams is a large and growing dental clinic chain that was founded in 2001 by Dr. Sameera Hussain with a mission to provide high-quality dental services to underserved communities. The company has expanded significantly, boasting numerous locations across multiple states including Illinois, Texas, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Mexico, South Carolina, Louisiana, California, Michigan, and Washington D.C. They operate under a model that emphasizes patient care over profitability, a principle instilled by their dentist-founder. Dental Dreams offers a comprehensive range of general dentistry services for both adults and children. These services typically include routine dental check-ups, teeth cleanings, exams, X-rays, root canal therapy, tooth extractions, teeth whitening, sealants, restorations, bridges, dentures & partials, pulpotomy, space maintainers, and veneers. Their clinics are described as family-friendly and are designed to put children at ease. A key aspect of Dental Dreams' approach is their commitment to accessibility. They accept a wide array of dental insurance plans, including PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid, making quality dental care more attainable for a broader demographic. To further accommodate busy schedules, many of their locations offer evening and weekend hours. They pride themselves on having licensed and experienced dentists capable of performing all avenues of general dentistry, ensuring that they can address a wide range of dental problems. The company also invests in hiring qualified dentists and providing them with modern, technologically advanced facilities and experienced support staff. Dental Dreams also provides autonomy for their dentists in treatment planning and offers mentoring programs.

I waited for over an hour after my appointment time. The waiting room floors were dirty and the bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper to use. That place needs a very good cleaning from the front to the back including the windows and chairs. My dentist gave me a shower when he was cleaning my teeth.

My experience started out well my granddaughter and I had appointment and my Granddaughter appointment was at 11am and mines was 11:30 they saw me first while I was in the back getting my x-ray I heard them call my granddaughter I look up they brought her to the area I was in and left her, then a young lady came in being rude saying what you here for I explain she had appointment she need filling, she was being so nasty saying they have for a emergency I inform she had appointment, she use to go to another dream dental but we wanted to be close to home I also explain this to them when I made the appointment, she proceed to say we can't see her, I said ok but the Dr. that was about to work on me said no pull her file and we would take a look at it, She came back and said we had to send my granddaughter back to the dental Dream on Minnesota avenue I said ok I'll take her back to Minnesota avenue the lady looked at me and said I'm not talking to you I'm talking to the doctor.

I didn't say anything after that because I saw where it was going, But my granddaughter said to the doctor she is being rude and disrespectful to my grandmother and to her as a costumer,Then she came back to my granddaughter who is a minor and said how was I being disrespectful and rude when she talked over me and my granddaughter said she wasn't trying to over talk you the doctor ask her to leave and apologize, by this time I was very uncomfortable and let the doctor know that's it was ok and we are leaving I let him know he or the other young lady who was in there who did the x-ray did nothing wrong. I wasn't sure what would happen next so we left.

I had a dental cleaning from Sunil Pathak that felt extremely rushed. It lasted about 10 minutes, and the dentist did not perform a thorough cleaning . There was no flossing or detailed scaling. He also forgot to provide protective eyewear, which is a basic safety standard, and only apologized after I brought it up.

The dentist appeared tired and was slurring his speech, which made me feel uneasy. While he said my teeth looked fine, the lack of care and attention was concerning. This was a one-time visit due to a last-minute cancellation with my regular dentist, and I will not be returning.

My daughter was comfortable and so was I my teeth needed to be cleaned. Very friendly atmosphere. Everyone was nice and child friendly. The doctor was nice and my teeth felt way different then when I walked in. He also reassured that I needed to come back to get the fillings done.
