My experience with Dental Dreams was great! We covered essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in dental assisting, with plenty of hands-on practice to reinforce the things we learned. The welcoming atmosphere made it easy to connect with classmates, and Dr. Zerita C. Buchanan’s leadership presence was truly inspiring!

Lily Days

As several other reviewers mentioned, Dr. Zerita Buchanan seems to recommend services that are usually not necessary, highly expensive, and are not covered by insurance. She suggested I spend thousands of dollars here, something no other dentists have ever told or recommended me. In addition, I can clearly observe many of the high-rated reviews here come from prior connections, family members, and family friends/associates. This is important to consider when thinking of the validity of experiences and potential bias.

While I respect her professionalism, the customer service could improve in my experiences, especially in terms of communication and accessibility of the dentist. This creates an environment of skepticism regarding reliability and trustworthiness when coming here. Furthermore, I fail to understand why they keep the door locked during operating hours when customers need to come in.

Majorly disappointed with this location and the dentist here. Just called to realize that my patient status was made “inactive” without my permission and I am basically no longer allowed to book appointment and have services at this facility by Zerita Buchanan. This came as a surprise, as I attempted to book 3 appointments and each had been canceled without notifying me simply because I requested X-rays of my teeth to share with my school after going through a pricey whitening treatment.

My school is able to have dental procedures covered with pictures from a dental visit, such as X-rays. Somehow, this is an “irreversible” action according to the individual I spoke with that was made without confirmation and clarification from this clinic. What is even more shocking to me is that I am no longer allowed to simply talk about this with anyone of authority or Zerita Buchanan at this facility to dispute this, as if I had been “banned” and had done wrong in this facility.

How strange? No dentist has ever done this before, and even then, they would be willing to talk with any patient about this or send a letter in the mail, especially if it cannot be undone.

The office is spotless, with a relaxing vibe enhanced by soft jazz music and beautiful cultural photography books and artwork.

The care and attention to detail are unmatched, making each visit a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I’ve finally found the dental office I’ve been searching for, and as long as I’m here, Dr. Buchanan will be my go-to dentist! Highly recommend!
