Every time we come to this location they have clerical issues. From a business perspective it does not portray a well managed business. Today, came in with our youngest team member for a routine visit, appointment was scheduled for 9am. We arrived at 850am and checked in as told by signing in on the clipboard. Sat for 20 min. Saw others going in before us, so inquired at desk. Receptionist said she forgot to check her in.
Waited another 15 min, at 925 asked again and was told they were waiting to get in touch to verify insurance. Sat and waited another 20 min before getting called back. 45 min late for an appointment. Now our youngest team member is still in school, so more school time is now getting missed for no good reason. The professional hygienists and dentists are great and knowledgeable however the business side is very frustrating. If not for the amazing work, we would find a new place to go.

By far the BEST dentist ive ever been to!! When i tell you i was always scared of the dentist so avoided at all cost, NOT HERE! So nice, gentle and just all around Amazing!! Regularly go now.😍

If I could put 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appointment for my son today due to his tooth breaking in half, when I called, they said I was not allowed to schedule 2 different appointments and that it would all need to be done today which included tooth extraction, X-rays, cleaning, and fillings of remaining teeth. When I got there we waited 45 minutes past appointment time before being called back and was in the back for tooth cleaning and a xray of 1 tooth for an additional 40 minutes before doctor came and saw us. When doctor came in he stated my sons gum where broken tooth was was very swollen and is infected and he won’t see him back for 2 weeks, when I asked why I was told this is how long he needed to be on meds for. When I walked to the front, I was told it should only be one week. Then because of the conflicting information, I asked if I can switch doctors because this is not the first time this doctor has done this to my family, the office manager told me I wasn’t allowed.
I said I wasn’t satisfied with the service provided and was then told I’m not being forced to go there and can go somewhere else. I asked if I can just see another provider within the facility and was told I would receive a call by end of today to let me know. The doctors assistant brought paperwork up front which was a referral for fillings. Which my son had fillings done there before and they were confused as to why I was given the referral and the office manager told the receptionist not to give me the paperwork and told me to wait for her call. I never once received the call. I went and saw a new dentist and they stated my sons tooth was NOT infected at all and didn’t understand why I was told that.
And they took X-rays of his whole mouth and was also able to extract the tooth. I am not happy with the care and tired of this doctor always stating he doesn’t have time for the appointment or always trying to pass the buck. He also never states who he is, doesn’t acknowledge the patient and comes in the room and just simply states to open your mouth. I don’t think it is right to force someone to stay with a doctor if they are not satisfied with care they are receiving.

Pretty horrible. I have always had a good experience with Dr Gao. However, I had heart surgery a year ago and she cleared me for heart surgery with dental work. A filling on my wisdom tooth fell out. She told me it was to hard of a tooth to fill I guess, and she could extract it. I need clearance for warfarin and antibiotics. She gave me a form to fill out. So I took it and left, quite annoyed.
I feel if it needed extraction, we should have done that before surgery. Now I have to prepare for dental work. I got home and my cardiologist told me to have them fax it directly to him. I called back to Dental Dreams to ask them to please send the form if they could. I was told I left without stopping at the desk to get the paper scanned, so I'll need to take it to my cardiologist myself. Just taking it to him is not a easy task. Now I am here with huge hole in the side of my tooth, while it's not constantly painful, it's extremely sensitive and deep. She told me a antibiotic would be called in, it was not.
( I'm not 100% sure i can take them but it's better than an infection in my tooth that is dangerous for me with a mechanical heart valve. ) I'm checking for different dentists in the area. She should be ashamed of herself and her staff. She acted amazing and caring before my surgery when she did the work to clear me for surgery. I thought since it was her filling that failed, and if she knew it would fail, why wait till now to remove it. Or at least make it right. But not faxing the paperwork is just disgusting. I hope she and her staff have the day they deserve
