Oh dear goodness. . . I just tried to make an appointment and what a challenge! I had to give my year of birth 3 times and actually had to spell the number 6 because the representative keep saying 5.

I have a major insurance company as my carrier and still was asked for my ss#, not an ideal request especially over the phone ! Is anyone concerned abot PII? Lots of dead air while the representative trying to schedule appointment. I decided to have her discard my appointment request.

I am only leaving this review for closure. I have been going to Dental Partners of Owings Mills for a while now and absolutely LOVED everything about it. The Doctor (Dr. Ajayi) was amazing and personable. I took my son from a pediatric dentist to them as well as they gave him the good Auntie talk on brushing his teeth and flossing appropriately. Our appointment was made for January 21, 2025. My son got covid in concern for the staff I called on January 19th (Sunday) to cancel my appointment, leaving a voicemail. January 20th was a holiday. The office called me on January 21st to reschedule my appointment. I was not told of any penalties or anything, they simply rescheduled. . . no problem. I went to my rescheduled appointment on April 18th and was told I have a filling and a root canal that needs to be done but I could not schedule my appointment because I owed $94 for a missed appointment fee. I am completely baffled. I ask to speak with someone regarding the issue.

I was told that the office manager was not in (Friday) and that she would be in on Monday and they would have her call me. I did not receive a call the next week. I called May 5th and left a message for the office manager to give me a call, in that I was waiting for a call from her so that I could make an appointment. The young lady said that she would give the office manager my message in that she was "occupied" at the time. Ok no problem. . . still no call. I called May 12th and left a message again with the receptionist for the office manager. The young lady stated that the office manager wasn't available. I said well can you try to schedule an appointment for me because I don't want the two issues with my teeth to get worse. The young lady scheduled me for July 12th. I take it but I am still in disbelief. I had to wait 2 months to get a filling, anything could have happened with my tooth by then. I have received fillings before and haven't had to wait longer than maybe a week to get a procedure. I then called May 13 and asked that my message this time be that I have been waiting for a call since April.

The office manager calls and states “The note says you missed the appointment or late called”. I explained the situation and she continued to refer to the note in my file. I ended the call in disbelief. I felt like I got punished for being concerned about the staff. I have referred to this practice to family and friends and never have had a problem with them whatsoever. I looked at my phone to see when I called the office in January. I called back and asked to speak to the manager again. The receptionist said that she was “with a client” and that she could answer my question. I asked about leaving voicemails to cancel appointments. She stated, "It's about when we listen to them so if it's on a weekend we don't listen to voicemails until Monday. " I paid $94 and asked that my records be released to me. I am beyond baffled at the situation and just want to be done with Dental Partners of Owings Mills. I cannot stand on anymore referrals to them.

I have been a patient of this practice for well over 6 years and I love it here. Both Dr. Anglin & Dr. Bethea are the most consummate professionals when it comes to this field of work. Experienced and very knowledgeable of best practices, current trends and the advancement in technology related to dental work.

The front office & hygienist are always super pleasant and promote a very welcoming atmosphere. Office is always immaculate and appointments are always seen on-time. Recommendations are always appropriate and never seem inflated or frivolous. I’d recommend this practice to all of my family & friends, you’ll love it here!!

Dr. Ajai, is my dentist and I must say I’m very impressed with not only her customer service but her professionalism and attention to detail. As a woman who is on the journey of finally prioritizing His temple, it’s taking a long time to see the importance of facing the fear and doing what’s necessary and taking care of your health is necessary.

Having the right team I’ve found to be essential in my journey. I was not made to feel ashamed I was treated with care and gentleness. She constantly asked how was checking in to see how was I doing along the process and her assistant was fantastic! I’m very grateful and optimistic for my final results and journey to wellness ! Thank you so much !
