I had a negative experience at this dental office. My wife and I scheduled cleaning appointments, but they performed full exams instead, which we did not request. This seemed like a way to increase billing, as we were charged $900 for these unwanted exams. Even more frustrating, they didn't even clean my wife's teeth because we don't have insurance, a fact they were aware of from the outset, but they did clean my teeth. Months later, I received an additional bill for $125 for *my* cleaning, despite already paying for the exams that we did not request.

Their explanation was that the initial payment only covered the exams. This feels like deceptive billing. While the office itself is modern and well-maintained, the staff's and dentist's casual demeanor didn't align with my professional expectations. As a business owner, I expect a more professional environment in a dental setting.

Dr Strickland is a true talent, but the customer service/office manager has driven the practice off a cliff. I have been a customer for 5 years and had no choice but to switch to a different practice recently due to double billing, being forced to play the middle man between Dental suites and my insurance company plus multiple botched and rescheduled appts resulting in unacceptable inconveniences and fees.

Good luck to everyone who reads this review, and I regrettably recommend looking elsewhere for your dental needs.

Dr Strickland ordered a $900 retainer that i never agreed to, then she tells me she will get me a night guard on her. So i pay for the retainer and she tried to charge me for the nightguard. I go to pick up night guard and she tries to charge me 650 and wont see me even though i am at her office. She then charges me 160 for a no show for the appointment despite me being there. No she refuses to send my dental files (since June 23rd).

Filing complaints with NC dental board, BBB, amongst others. I have been a patient here for 7 years. Totally disgusted.

I’ve been a patient at Dental Suite for several years, but the past few months have been increasingly frustrating due to poor communication and disorganization. I was scheduled for an appointment in January, but without prior notice or input on my availability, I received a text with a new appointment time. When I called to address it, the front desk acted like it wasn’t an issue. The day of the rescheduled appointment, it snowed and the office was closed. I still called and left a voicemail informing them that I would be unable to attend due to the snow.

Despite that, I received an email five hours before the appointment time marking me as a no-show. Before another upcoming appointment, I received a bill and noticed they had charged me for that same January visit—the one canceled due to the snow. When I called to clarify, the front desk showed no empathy or concern for the patient experience and simply told me to leave a message on the website. No effort was made to resolve the issue. I gave them 3 stars because the dentist has always been very kind and helpful, but I would encourage them to get some help on the administrative side.

That is not a good look for business. After years as a patient, these experiences have led me to find a new provider.
