Highly recommend Dental Touch - Dr. Dowdy’s office. I’ve have always received excellent customer service. Always a warm greeting, engaging staff and great dental service. However, I recently experienced a medical emergency while at a routine visit.

The professionalism and compassion displayed by the entire staff was phenomenal. It was a very scary situation but the entire team prioritized my care until EMS arrived. I’m am thankful to God that I was with the staff of Dr. Dowdy when this event occurred and received care and have recovered.

I been a patient for over 10 plus years. This dentist held a partial of mine for over 2yrs because I cancelled my appointment. When they realized it they tried to make me repay for a partial that no longer fit. I started to question them about payments that were made and found out they were over charging me. Now I asked them about the partial that I already paid for but never got put in my mouth. They started treating me as though I’m a problem and then told me I never purchased a tooth for the lower bottom. I paid for the upper. That’s not what I was told when I came in on the 8th of February and the Dr. tried to fit the tooth.

The manager starts to dismiss my valid questions about which tooth I have in the office. The doctor rudely interrupted and stated I know which tooth it is y’all need to get this situated. As the manager is asking me if I wanted an appointment I asked well I don’t know what I’m coming in for because you said I NEVER paid for the lower partial but Dr. Dowdy knew she tried to fit me for the lower. She then try to say she never said that so how is it that I paid for one partial but you fitted me for a different one. Because I questioned them they then rudely asked me if I wanted a refund. I said yes because they couldn’t confirm what tooth I paid for. So then they want me to pay for the lab bill. I would NEVER RETURN BACK TO THIS PRACTICE.

If this how they treat their longtime patients. With rudeness and omissions. Trying to make you feel as though asking questions is a crime. I don’t care if I My entire family attended this practice until recently. The only nice and respectful person is the Hygienist Ms. Mince.

Dental Touch has been, and remains, the absolute BEST full service dental office I’ve ever experienced. The staff is warm, friendly and efficient. The hygienist is knowledgeable, gentle and thorough and the dentist is a consummate professional who masters the skills that earns every experience 5-stars. All this and they are timely, getting you in and out because they respect you and your time.
