I came to Dr. Castro with severe dental anxiety and from the first visit I knew that I was in good hands. She is personable, attentive, friendly and just all about her patients which you don't always find in dentist. Every visit that I have had with her has been amazing so much that I have added my sons as patients of hers as well. Her office staff is amazing they make you feel like you are a part of the family not just a client.

Candi`s customer service is on point every experience every time. I am a long-term avoider of dental work but with Dr. Castro she makes it ok. If you are looking for an amazing dentist, just make the appointment trust me! Thank you so much from the Calvert, Davis family:)

I got clear aligners and the experience was amazing! The front desk is super nice and knowledgeable. They were able to set me up for appointments with ease. The whole process was super easy. The whole team did an amazing job at answering my questions and concerns. Also, they gave me the best and most thorough cleaning I’ve ever received. 10/10 would recommend!

The dental hygienist sprayed my gums with a hard stream of water which tore up my gums and left them bloody. I kept complaining about the pain, but she didn't let up stating it was new technology. She did not protect my face from the water flowing out of my bottom lip so my face, chin and neck was very wet. Nor used a suction tube. She had ZERO bedside manner. Did not apologize for hurting my gums. Never smiled. My gums were so torn up they said they couldn't polish them and I had to comeback to get them polished.

Who has ever heard of a 2 part cleaning? Furthermore, it is not new technology as water and baking soda was used some 25 years ago and then, the dental hygienist kindly protected my face with a napkin and the spray didn't go down my chin. Worse dental cleaning ever at Dentistry at the Mills. Will not go back. The only way to avoid the subpar dental assistant to get the polishing is to come back early in the morning to see a part time hygienist. When you've had insomnia all night, that is hard. You can tell that the 5 star reviews are fake. Every third one says the office is clean. I have never once been to a dentist where I thought "this office is clean".

EVERY dentist office is clean in my experience. The 3 or 4 1 star reviews are the truth. There is no in between. Either 5 star or 1 star. How unusual. BTW, the dentist didn't check my teeth for cavities or anything after the hygienist blasted tears into my gums. Just kind of hustled me out of there.

The word for this place is encouraging. From the moment I spoke to Kandy on the phone prior to going in, I knew that I was in good hands. Dr. Castro is the perfect mix of personable and professional. Both Lindsey and Nevia are super friendly and reassuring.

They each had me as comfortable as possible in a dentist's office. Anna is wonderful hygienist who was thorough with minimal discomfort. Alondra is a very polite young lady, both on the phone and during check-in/out. This office has a lot of good energy and is highly recommended.
