My 2.5 year old didn’t want to leave.❤️ They were so sweet to her, and they have a play kitchen with toy food which is her *favorite*. They scheduled our subsequent appointment before we went back which was a very smart use of the waiting time. The dentists and hygienists were amazing.

**Review for Children's Dental Office** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took my child, who has special needs, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and understood. The waiting area was bright and cheerful, filled with toys and books, which helped to ease any anxiety my child had about the visit. The dental team was incredibly patient and accommodating. They took the time to explain every step of the process in a way that was easy for my child to understand.

which really helped my child feel more comfortable. I appreciated how they modified their approach based on my child's unique needs, ensuring that the experience was as stress-free as possible. The dentist was warm and engaging, making an effort to connect with my child. They encouraged questions and took things slowly, which made all the difference. It was clear that they have experience working with children with special needs, and their compassion shone through.

Overall, I left feeling relieved and grateful to have found a dental office that truly understands and caters to the needs of children like mine. I highly recommend Children for Dentistry if you’re a parent seeking a supportive and understanding environment for their child's dental care, especially for those with special needs. Thank you for making this experience a positive one!

This my first time visiting this office with my babies. I have a 3 and 1 year old. I loved that they allowed me to book the siblings together. The office space is stunning and the kids enjoyed the play area. We only waited about 5 mins before they called us back. The associate that worked with us was kind and knowledgeable. Everyone that engaged with us, including the Doctor was extremely kindhearted. It was very refreshing to see.

They gave my boys a cleaning, floss, and checked for cavities. They were gentle too. They have a board for the child to sit on your lap as they clean which was super helpful. Both boys left with goodie bags that included a little stuffed animal and a ball. Dr. Baker even gave my 3 year old a high five lol. Beautiful office with very kind staff — can’t wait to take them back in 6 months.

I wanted to share my experience with this location. I made an appointment in July and had to wait two months for my initial consultation and cleaning as a new patient. However, when I arrived, I was told that I was only scheduled for a consultation, despite clearly requesting both a cleaning and a consultation when I booked in July. I explained that I’m entitled to two free cleanings per year, and I had already used one earlier this year in April or May. I also needed to get my kids in for their second cleaning before the end of the year. When I arrived at the facility, I was impressed. The location is beautiful, there’s ample parking, and the environment is very kid-friendly. I was excited to be there. After the introductions and discussing my concerns, the dentist came in, but then something strange happened—he glanced out the window, stepped out, and never returned. Shortly after, a staff member informed me that the dentist had an emergency—his wife had been in an accident—and they would need to reschedule my appointment. While I felt terrible about his situation and completely understand emergencies happen, I was flabbergasted.

I had taken the day off work, brought my kids along, and asked if they could reschedule me for later in the day or at another location. I explained that my schedule is hectic—I work two jobs and have limited flexibility to take time off. Getting my kids out of school and daycare is a complicated process. The staff said they could squeeze me in at 10:20 a. m. later that day, so I agreed. However, about 20 minutes before the appointment, I received a call saying the dentist wouldn’t be back and that I would need to reschedule. They offered to put me on a waiting list in case someone canceled, which I found completely inappropriate. I suggested they send me to a different location, but they said there was only one dentist available that day. I asked if they could call another nearby office, like the one in Columbia, to see if they could fit me in sooner, especially since one of my kids has been complaining of tooth pain. Instead, the staff member told me I had to call them myself, and the best she could do was give me their phone number.

As someone who works in customer service, I found this unacceptable. When a customer is inconvenienced by an uncontrollable circumstance, it’s standard practice to do everything possible to accommodate them. I asked to speak with a manager, hoping they could coordinate something given the situation. I was told the manager would call me by the end of the day. Here we are, 24 hours later, and I haven’t received any call or feedback, but I did get an email asking me to rate my experience on Google. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed. The lack of empathy and customer service, combined with how rushed and inconsiderate the process was, left me feeling completely disregarded. It takes significant effort to coordinate getting my kids out of school and taking time off work, and I lost that time for nothing. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. By the way they didn’t even do a cleaning.
