Dr. Sternhagen is a highly competent, kind and gentle dentist. My kids and I have been patients of his for years. We appreciate his staff and their patient-centered approach to dental care.

When we have had questions or concerns, they are always answered clearly and met with compassion. The office’s focus on patient education and preventative care is helpful. When I enter their office, I know I will receive individual attention and care- something that is rare to find in today’s world.

Due to a bad experience as a child which resulted in high anxiety over dental visits I avoided almost all but emergency dental care! At my first visit to Dr Sternhagen my anxiety was reduced to the point that I walked out of the office with a new attitude knowing my dental care would become priority. Over the past year I have a new outlook about visiting the dentist. Dr and his entire staff offer respect and patience. I have been very satisfied with everything and feel that I am an important patient to them.

All matters are thoroughly discussed and explained from the front office through the dental chair. I would HIGHLY recommend Dentistry for Northern Michigan. Nancy S

I love my dentist!!! He is the best dentist I have ever had in my entire life. He is kind, thorough, genuinely caring, and highly skilled. He is surrounded by, and supported by an amazing group of dental professionals; Dave, the hygienist is great, and takes ownership of the health of my mouth, and makes sure that I do the same! Kim runs the office and is full of energy and spirit! Dr. Paul cares about me and my comfort. He treats me like family! And he treats his entire staff with kindness and dignity. .
