Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
Dr. Jung and his staff provide excellent care to their patients. He and his staff are welcoming and friendly, and they do all they can to provide their patients with the dental care they requure while working to ensure they process dental claims in a timely manner. I also appreciate the free parking space that is available to patients on a first come, first served basis which I have used on several occasions, saving me money in expensive parking fees in Center City Philadelphia.
As a formerly phobic patient who was traumatized by a dentist as a child, I always feel quite comfortable and cared for by Dr. Jung and his staff. For those who fear dentists, I assure you that one visit to Dentistry in Philadelphia may ease your fears and set you on a path to better dental health.

This practice is known for their patient care, and my review will challenge the truth of that. My partner and I are both transgender and we quickly noticed how the staff were uncomfortable and sometimes outright against using our correct pronouns, especially Dawn, the dental hygienist. Dawn repeatedly misgendered me and my partner. Upon correcting her, she would deny that she even misgendered us in the first place. We addressed this issue with Dr. Jung via email. The practice’s solution was for us to never see Dawn again. This was true in subsequent visits, but in our last visit, we crossed paths with Dawn and she ignored us without apologizing. Separately, Dawn inappropriately and unprofessionally overreacted to finding out that we were trying to get pregnant.
She brought up sex. She brought up how a transman will be pregnant. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable and abnormal. Through working with Dr. Jung, my partner learned how her teeth’s alignment was negatively affecting her bite and she elected to get orthodontic work. Dr. Jung didn’t tell her how the initial set up of the aligners would be very invasive. He underplayed what shaving down her enamel would feel like. He told her that he needed to create 6 gaps between her teeth by shaving her enamel down as a part of this process.
It was so overwhelming to her, that she didn’t realize he only created 5 gaps during the initial appointment. He never told her that he only created 5 out of 6 of the gaps, and that the 6th gap would be created in the follow-up visit 8 weeks later. Dr. Jung didn’t explain how painful this process would be either. My partner was in major pain for 3 weeks after getting her enamel shaved, brackets glued onto her teeth, and aligners installed all in one appointment. We will continue to go to this dentist but it’s become apparent that we need to warn new patients how this practice will underplay how procedures will be performed and if you don’t ask the right questions, important information will be left out of pre-procedure conversations.

Dr Jung is the best. I have a long and complicated dental history, and Dr Jung took the time to educate himself about my medical history and also about what I want and how I want to be treated. He explains his approach in a clear and straightforward manner so that he can ensure that every new patient is a good fit for what he offers. I’m totally impressed by his practice and also the quality and kindness of his staff.
I’ve had a wonderful experience with everyone who works there, from Summer at the front desk to Mary who took my X-rays and Dawn who cleaned my teeth and took the time to give me tips on how to care for my teeth and gums. When I chipped an old filling done by another dentist I was offered a same day appointment and was able to take care of this minor but anxiety-producing problem just hours after calling for help. If you are looking for kind and high quality care, go see Dr Jung and his team.

I recently moved and had to find a new dentist. I love my old dentist. She was professional, had a great bedside manner and her work was superb. Imagine my surprise to find a young new dentist, Dr. Jung, who’s not only equally capable, but who also is exceedingly thorough from screening to options to execution.
Dr. Jung uses state of the art screening (including a teeny tiny camera) to screen and analyze conditions inside the mouth. He then uses these images to explain clearly to patients his findings and possible options for remediation. I drive nearly 3 hours to get to this office. And it’s worth every minute.
The staff is very friendly and professional as well, and extra care is taken to make patients feel comfortable. Best of all, even a somewhat complicated presentation can often be addressed in one day, with an in house lab to create crowns. I’m very impressed with his practice and highly recommend Dr. Jung to anyone seeking a highly professional and empathetic team to address their dental needs.
