The at Dhakar Dentistry is outstanding from top to bottom. Top quality work, Quick, friendly staff, affordable. My whole experience here from X-rays to tooth cleaning to extraction was as pleasant as a dentist trip can be. Dr. Dhakar is extremely talented at what he does and has phenomenal bedside manner. I went in for a double tooth extraction and was amazed at how simple and pain free it was.

Similarly my prior visit for a cleaning and X-rays was equally as nice. Dhakar was honest and straightforward without shaming me for not having better oral hygiene. And to boot, this was the least painful tooth cleaning I’ve ever had. The practice runs efficiently. No extended waiting for scheduled appoints. Every assistant did wonderful job woth the prep work and shout out the woman who polished me teeth, you were great.

They are also nice, willing to make jokes which makes the stress of the dentist so much more bearable. The front desk human is also wonderful and patient. She helped with insurance questions and just gives off good vibes. If you need dental work, go here.

I really enjoyed coming to this place! I Had a very bad toothache due to a previous root canal. These awesome people fit me in not even an hour after I called. I really enjoyed the staff and the dentist that pulled my tooth! Thank you guys so much, y’all are awesome, keep rocking on Update: I spoke too soon! 2 days after having the extraction done I am in TERRIBLE pain! No exaggeration. I tried to call today and see if they would prescribe me something other than Ibuprofen or if I needed to be seen.

I spoke to a nice lady at the front desk and was told i’d receive a call back due to her having to speak to a doctor, which I completely understood because I, myself work in a vets office so I get it. Well, I never received a call back and I think that’s very unprofessional because when there is a client, in legit agonizing pain, wouldn’t you want to do everything you could to help? Anyway, I loved the staff but did not appreciate the careless effort made to help me feel more comfortable. I have made a new appointment with a different dentist. Thank y’all for being kind, but next time, try and have some sympathy for your patients.

We really are in pain, not just looking for drugs.

Came in here with a lot of pain in my teeth. The doctor wasn’t able to help me, but he was able to refer and give me pain medicine. He also helped with the pain for the moment by putting in a cap definitely would recommend.

They were polite but that's it, they did nothing to help other than refer me to VCU (who is amazing) they took that thing poked my teeth until it hurt. And 3 years later in the exact spot that had a hole from them, is rotted and now need to be pulled, said I had breaks and cavities and never did a thing to help fix it. Did not even clean my teeth.

Oh and idk if anyone else experienced it, but they had their kids running around the office which made me uncomfortable considering with a kid around everyone is distracted, me included But like I said they were polite so that's as far as I would take it.
