I had the privilege to have Dr. Wier cleaned and polished my teeth today because the office is in the process of finding a new hygienist. Dr. Wier had been our family dentist and orthodontist for a long time. He is experienced and honest about what needs to be done. I am disappointed to hear that Dr. Wier will not be in the Saint Paris office anymore after today. ☹

Worst customer service experience in the history of customer service. I would select zero stars, or even a negative rating, but it would not let me do that. The place was great while Dr. Weir was there. We were not even notified that the practice was bought by Dr. DiMichaelangelo. We just showed up for scheduled appointments one day and he was there. They didn't even tell us he had bought the practice. We had to ask. They have told each one of us (myself, wife, and son) that we needed extra work done. My wife and I had one procedure that was suggested.

Now she can't eat certain things. Was not explained very well. The amount that they estimated that we had to pay was way lower than the actual amount. They sent a bill repeatedly with only part of the charges. I called several time and the person was never available. I finally spoke with them and got an itemized bill of all the charges we should owe from the beginning. I compared this with the EOBs from insurance. They do not match. I called the insurance company to ask if the amounts we owed were correct. They verified that they were correct. I went over all the EOBs for myself, wife, and son and added up how much we owed and how much we had paid.

Turns out they overcharged us by ~$360 and say we still owe over $1800 more. I sent them a print out of this saying I had spoken with insurance and requested the overcharged money be refunded. I did not hear from them again. Until a couple weeks ago. I received the bill for over $1800 again, conveniently after we switched our insurance and can select a new provider. I am in the process of getting full copies of the EOBs from the insurance company to again request the overpayment be refunded, or they show me where the error is and how I can possibly owe $1800 more. DiMichaelangelo's jovial nature is a front for this rip-off scheme. Either that or they are all completely incompetent. Either way, strongly suggest staying far away from this practice.
