Thank you Distinctive Smile Design for the amazing work Kathy Haran did for my cleaning. My teeth feel so clean and I am going to take her reccomendations and floss everyday and keep my cleaning appointments. I never have liked the dentist but being there and the work they do has changed my perception of the denist. I now love the denist!! Imagine that!! The office is gorgeous and clean. Very important factor when choosing a dentist.

I reccomend Dr. Coffee and Kathy Haran at Distinctive Smile Design. Top notch and nowhere else compares. Don't forget your to go bag. Those toothbrushes are amazing!!! Thanks again and it's nice to see such a great place where I feel comfortable and trust the work they do!!

I would be reviewing Distinctive Smile Design 1 Star out of 5; and I will not be retuning. I was referred to Dr. Christopher Coffey by Dr. Gruba at Sauk Trail Dental Care for a tooth that required more specialized attention. Without disclosing any personal medical or dental information in this review, I commend the dentist for providing a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the issue. His meticulous approach, including the use of a dental mannequin to illustrate the problem and demonstrate the proposed solution, was highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I found Dr. Coffey’s response concerning, particularly his use of the phrase “in a perfect world” to justify the dental work required. This statement undermined my trust in his expertise, as I do not reside in an ideal environment and alternative treatments are acceptable. It is not necessary to adhere to a single treatment solely based on personal preferences or the belief in a perfect outcome. I share this information because it makes me question his professional decisions regarding alternative treatments, which are outside of his “living in a perfect world” approach. This approach eliminates the possibility that other treatments could achieve the same desirable outcomes.

However, since such an approach is considered unconventional and potentially controversial, it is advisable to refrain from discussing, suggesting, or even considering it due to other factors being outside of the “perfect world” phase. While Dr. Coffey’s concern for my health may be commendable, it does not instill confidence in me. Rather, it serves as additional motivation to seek financial gain and opt for more expensive and expedited treatments that align with his vision of a “perfect world. ”
