WARNING – Stay Away! I had a horrible experience at this dental clinic that ended up costing me thousands of dollars to fix the damage they caused. I wish I had read the reviews before going there—I might still have my teeth. Dr. Barkley is completely unprofessional. He never explained what he was doing, never communicated clearly, and performed a botched root canal that ultimately led to the loss of my tooth. It felt like this clinic hired random people off the street and let them work on my mouth with no supervision.

There’s absolutely no accountability here. When things went wrong, no one took responsibility. I’m genuinely shocked that, with so many negative experiences like mine, this clinic is still allowed to operate. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place at all costs. You deserve better care.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Walk‑in “convenience” masks utter chaos! I went in for a walk-in or next-day appointment—and regretted it the moment I sat down: No transparency at all They have no website, no staff photos, no disclosure of who’s treating you. That lack of identity isn't coincidence—it’s cover‑up sabotage. Dr.  Barkley destroyed my tooth—a root canal butchered, not healed I lost the tooth, and the damage wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t rushing and unskilled. A motivated root canal is one thing… but doing it poorly enough to wreck your tooth is another.

Dirty, unsafe practices They reuse the same dirty dental instruments on multiple patients. I got multiple infections because of this reuse. Infection risk should be non-negotiable, and this is gross negligence. They prey on new patients The “walk-in!” and “next day!” slogans are bait. Once you’re in, they push unnecessary procedures.

This is exactly what experts warn against—staff seem to take joy in your pain They shrug off the damage, escalate costs, and extend painful visits just to watch you suffer. Then they blame you for any bad outcome.

Divine Family Dentistry is probably my favorite dentist office I’ve ever been to. My mom was an orthodontist assistant so I grew up with teeth people. The staff are always super friendly and my teeth always feel top notch whether it’s a routine cleaning or getting a cavity filled. I highly recommend them to all my Ohio people.
