I received a filling that, in hindsight, could have been avoided. The dentist was aware that the cavity was quite deep but decided to proceed with the filling anyway. I’m not one to make assumptions, but I suspect it was because their office doesn’t offer root canal treatments. Dr. Dolan mentioned that if I experienced any discomfort after the procedure, I should let them know since the cavity was so deep. When I returned for my cleaning, I informed the office that the tooth was still bothering me.

They shaved down the tooth, explaining that sometimes improper shaving could cause stress on the tooth when biting. Despite the adjustment, the pain persisted, so I scheduled another appointment to explore other options. At this visit, I was surprised to find they performed an additional X-ray, even though they already knew exactly which tooth was the issue from the previous X-ray. This felt unnecessary, especially since the extra X-ray seemed more like a way to charge my insurance. After confirming the problem tooth with the second X-ray, they proceeded with an Endo-Ice test (which involves placing ice on the exposed nerve to diagnose the issue). The pain from this test was unbearable—far worse than anything I’ve experienced before, even more painful than childbirth.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a dental office until now. Everyone was aware from the beginning which tooth was causing the pain, yet I felt like I was being put through unnecessary procedures. While the staff at this office is friendly, I’m concerned about their experience and the limited services they can provide. This has been by far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had, especially considering they knew about my pain from the start.

The entire staff is so friendly. I would 100% recommend. They always go the extra mile of setting you at ease. Dr Dolan explains each step he is doing. If you are like me and afraid of the dentist then you need to definitely go to this office. I can honestly say that I’m not as afraid as I used to be because of Dr. Dolan and his staff!

they are absolutely amazing! not only do they do a great job, they genuinely want to help people, not in it for just money like most places. i couldn’t ask for a better dentist office. i’m very thankful and blessed to have them as my oral health team!
