I called to make my wife an appointment and man, was I blown away. The ladies at the front know what they are talking about. The assistant who came and got her was so kind and already taking a bit of her fear away by just listening.

Dr Dooley came in and in just a few minutes he explained to her what was going on and gave her a plan to fix it. I will say if you are in need of a dentist this is the place.

Wonderful staff all the way from booking the appointment to getting set up to being checked out all the associates were kind, helpful and professional. And Doctor Dooley wonderful too. Compassionate and competent throughout the process. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Okay dentist, unethical practice. I went to Dr. Dooley twice yearly, as one does with a dentist in the mid to late 2010s for 4 or 5 years. When I needed a filling replaced, I asked what it would cost -- I have an HSA and can pay for it through that, but want to know the cost. His office told me that "With your insurance it will be" and quoted something around a couple hundred dollars. I agreed, and when I went in to get the work done, it was about $50 more. I grumbled, but paid. Then they sent me a bill and started hounding me for the full amount again. Their letters, texts, and emails tell you to call them -- odd they have NEVER called me. Do they not have out going lines? Anyway, I called them, explained I'd paid. They told me I had not, so I sent them a copy of the receipt. They apologized, marked my account paid, and I cancelled future appointments. But, I didn't go find another dentist, either.

Stupid me. So when a tooth broke in 2024, they had my dental history and I went back. They have a machine to make crowns and can make and install the crown in a day (once you get in to see them, which was a couple days). Again, I asked what it would cost. $600 they said. I go in, pay $600, and they put in the crown. Shortly thereafter, they start sending me notices that I owe an additional $66. Add it up and you'll see they are the devil? Probably just a coincidence. Now when I tell a client the job will be this much and I go over, I have to cover the overage. Not Dooley. Again, they have NEVER called me, but keep asking me to call them. After a couple months of waiting on them to call, I called them. I noted that it was their job to call the insurance company and learn what it was going to cover and let me know.

If they didn't adequately convey the work they were going to do to the insurance company, that is not my fault. It was their job, and they said they did before quoting me the price. If something else had come up during the procedure and they had to do something that they hadn't talked to the insurance company about, just tell me when I'm checking out -- I'm reasonable. They do not claim that any additional work took place. I understand insurance sucks (so does this dentist's practice), but it was their job to have a price after I had requested it in advance. Anyway, I told them that I would pay it, but was in no hurry. I also cancelled my future appointment. They continue to hound me. Only use this practice if you understand that they WILL quote you a low rate and then increase it. In my business, we call that UNETHICAL.

I have been gong to Dr. Dooley since 1990. That is 35 years! I have always been very happy with his dentistry skill. He is professional yet caring.

Karen, my dental hygienist is the best there ever was. I won't see anyone else except her. I guess to sum things up, this practice is fantastic or I wouldn't be going there for 35 years! Five stars to all the people who make this practice so fantastic!
