I recently moved to Louisville from Florida and needed to find a dentist that would help me complete my Invisalign process. My research led me to Dorsey Family Dental and I could not be more pleased. Not only did I need to finish my straightening process, but I also lost a crown breaking the tooth creating complications. I needed referral to oral surgeon for extraction and implant, needed a cleaning, and in general I've had more than my share of dental issues in my four months in Louisville. It was a tough winter, in more ways than one, but the best thing I did was find Dorsey Dental.

Dr. Ikram has been wonderful and so gentle with my long time dental anxieties and gone out of her way to accommodate my recent challenges . Danielle and Morgan have helped me through the dental insurance transition maze. They are just very caring people and I high recommend them.

I needed 2 root canals. Every place I called was a month or more booked out. Dorsey managed to get me in early enough in the day to get both of my issues taken care of in one appointment. My first time at this office was truly a great experience. I have never said that when it comes to going to the dentist. I was greeted by an EDDA, with a hugh smile,nice giggle, sweet tone. The EDDA explains each step of the xrays before taking them, and what we are looking for on each one.

She told me when I should or shouldn't bite down firmly on mouth piece before placing them in my mouth to prevent discomfort! Immediately afterwards, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the hygienist. She explained what she saw on my xrays, and with a big smile, she said everything looks good,however, we are going to work on making them even better. After a gentle yet precise cleaning on each tooth, polish,and flushing of gum pockets,I felt like my mouth had a spa treatment. The doctor tops it off with a gentle greeting,and straight to the truth of what I needed to do and not to do to keep cost down and keep my teeth beautiful ,and healthy.

I didn't have an appointment, was looking to make one but the bubbly receptionist thought to ask me ,if I wanted to be fitted in because appointment was canceled. I had somewhere to be at 12:50 They called me back at 10:49. I was finished at 12:10 Thanks You ALL at the office of DORSEY FAMILY DENTAL
