Never liked going to the dentist because of previous unpleasant experiences. Moved to Washington from Hawaii 3 years ago and haven’t been to the dentist since. Walked by Down to Earth one day and I decided to walk in and asked if they take new patients. I am extremely grateful to the whole staff. Thank you to Dana at the front desk for constant communication and always making sure I knew what’s going on. Working with me to set up my future appointments and breaking everything down for me to understand.

Dr. James was awesome and explained everything I need to get done in the next couple years to get me back on track. Edlene was my dental hygienist, and she’s very passionate about what she does. She made the whole deep cleaning experience tolerable for me and educated me a lot on how I can better take care of my oral health. I’m glad that I found a great place with great people that I can keep coming to.

First Experience with the dental cleaning was great. When I came back for fillings it was horrible. I was super nervous and mid filling the doctor tells me I will likely need a root canal. Not words you want to hear mid filling when you can’t even talk or ask questions because they are drilling in your mouth.

Way to help me feel more safe. Also my numbing injections were super painful and left bruises on my face 4 days later. My cheek was still slightly numb the next morning as well. Beware !!!

Dr. Xie & Judith-RDA made my experience so comforting. Not knowing I would have to get a root canal & crown when I first went in there, they made the whole procedure bearable. And were really patient & took care of me with patience and great skills.

I look forward to working with them on my next visit and knowing that reminds me I’ll be in the hands of 2 caring professionals. Thank you again Down to Earth Dental.

They don't do root canals or wisdom teeth extraction. If you need anything like that, go elsewhere because you will waste your time. Plus, they will take xrays until they find something to charge you extra for. Melissa, the hygienist was amazing and she is the best part of your horrible place. I also noticed that they only respond to good reviews. If you have anything negative to say, you are on your own. Dentists are so competitive these days.

There are better ones out there who don't abide by predatory practices. I thought I'd give them a try since my son had a good experience, but no thank you. When I had follow up questions for Dr. Xie, she magically disappeared into the abyss and was never seen again. What a terrible way of running a business. No wonder people have such anxiety over visiting the dentist.
