I'm not a regular patient of Dr. Grabeman but happened to be vacationing in Pawleys Island for a few weeks. Last Thursday night, an old root canal started aching. By Friday morning I knew I had to do something, especially with a weekend coming. A quick search turned up several dentists. Dr. Grabeman's reviews caught my notice so I called his office early. The staff was great and got me in to see the doctor before 9am. Dr. Grabeman took an x-ray, saw the problem and prescribed pain killers and an antibiotic.

We both hoped that would mitigate the issue until I returned back home in a few weeks. Before I left he mentioned that I could call over the weekend if I needed more help. I should mention that his office is not open on the weekends. I had a very rough weekend, but it would have been insanely worse without Dr. Grabeman's help. I called Saturday morning and left a message that the pain was severe. He met me in his office less than an hour later to give me an injection to block the pain. Naturally, this wears off, so Saturday night was tough. I called again Sunday morning and in less than an hour I was back at his office for another injection. He also told me to come back at 5:30 pm for another.

So he came to his closed office three times over the weekend to help some guy who happened to be in the area. I was and am very impressed by his kindness. On top of this, before 8 am on Monday morning, Dr. Grabeman called to tell me he had made me an appointment with a root canal specialist within the hour, and finally the problem was resolved. If it were not for Dr. Grabeman's insistence on helping me I don't know what I would have done. He is a terrific dentist and an outstanding, compassionate man. Thank you, Dr. Grabeman!
