I will begin by saying this was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist office. The staff was very prompt and professional but the dentist himself was rude and inconsiderate. A brief synopsis of the appointment is I was worked in as an emergent visit because my crown came off.

While speaking with the dentist he refused to let me talk and rambled on about the integrity of my underlying tooth the crown was fitted on and he only gave me one option to have the tooth pulled and an implant put in. When I then tried asking more questions he cut me off and said that was the only option he was giving and then asked me very curtly “if I’d like him to stop talking” I said yes and he then exited room and I was left with the hygienist to try and decide the next steps. Needless to say I received a second opinion and to my amazement was given not just one but two options neither of which were extracting the tooth.

I have never left a review of a business before but felt it my obligation to do so because of the way I was treated by someone that is a professional and is in the business of caring for people.

I needed to find another dentist, so I took the advice of a co-worker and selected this one. My health insurance changed when we were acquired by WVU medicine. My previous dentist did not take their insurance. I was very impressed by my dental hygienist, Dr Chapman, and everyone else for that matter. They were very personal and professional. We discovered that I needed some major dental work and I was dreading it so much.

So, after my visit yesterday I have to say that I was very impressed with everyone there. They sure know what they're doing and I made it through the ordeal very smoothly. They are all definitely on their A game. I will definitely stay with them as long as my insurance doesn't change. Hopefully that won't happen.

I wouldn’t trust my dental care with anyone else. Dr. Chapman and his team have truly gone above and beyond. 8 years ago, I was so excited to start my Invisalign journey, but shortly after, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Dr. Chapman, understanding how difficult things might get with chemo and offered to remove the Invisalign, but I chose to stick with it. Unfortunately, chemo made it more challenging, and I had to ask him to remove them. What really blew me away was how quickly Dr. Chapman took action.

Not only did he remove the Invisalign right away, but he also called Invisalign on my behalf and got me a full refund. I was in complete shock at his thoughtfulness. He told me, "You have enough to deal with, and when you're better, you'll come back. " And I did. A little over a year later, cancer-free, Dr. Chapman gave me the beautiful smile I had always hoped for. I can’t thank him enough for his exceptional care and compassion.

Needed more fillings today. Great experience! No pain! Needed four fillings in right side today. Cheerful front office once again and hygienist encouraged me when I was nervous. I did not have one bit of pain during fillings ! VERY thankful! ✌️🙌❤️ pregnant and Doctor Chapman asked if I needed to use restroom halfway through. The kindness in this place !!!!
