I have never been so comfortable with going to the dentist in my life. These dentists care about your well being, the office is welcoming and warm, and the staff is always kind. I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done, and they were able to handle it all. 10/10 would recommend Duren Family Dental!

The best in the business!! Dr. Lund is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. He will make your visit very comfortable and might even make you laugh once or twice.

The hygienists are all very kind and Jenae will make your cleanings quick and painless. Dr. Duren is a very nice man as well and I know he’s been in the business for a long time and his patients love him!! Would highly recommend Duren Family Dental to any and all!!

If I wanted to be gaslight, I would have just hit up an ex. TL;DR: Dr. Duren and his staff repeatedly dismissed my concerns and told me what I was feeling wasn't real. After finding a new dentist, my concerns turned out to be very real and will now cost me about $6,000 to *attempt* to fix. I may still lose a tooth. For the nearly 7 years I had been a patient at this practice, I complained about tooth pain and sensitivity. For 7 years these folks saw shadows on my x-rays and never told me. For 7 years these folks told me the pain wasn't painful enough and to let them know if it got worse. In the midst of finally pursuing a root canal, the endodontist identified the shadows from my x-rays as tooth decay.

I confronted the doctors at Duran Family Dental about it and they swore up and down that I had nothing to worry about and that they did nothing wrong. Due to years of living with decay, my teeth became fragile and I cracked multiple teeth. I told them I was in pain and that I was concerned about the new cracks I had identified. They responded with zero urgency and refused to work me into their schedule. Dr. Duran belittled my concerns and was condescending when I expressed concern about cracks on one particular tooth as well as to how they got there. I brought my boyfriend into an appointment for the pure sake of being taken seriously. Dr. Veenstra was more compassionate, but still told me what I was concerned about were only "craze lines.

" By the time I found a new dentist, I had been in significant pain for nearly two months (during all three major winter holidays), avoiding liquids of any temperature and able to chew only on one side of my mouth. The new dentist began to fix one cracked tooth (an obvious fractured cusp) only to find that the second tooth right next to it (the one I was adamantly concerned about) had MULTIPLE cracks in it and completely BROKE APART into 3 pieces at the exact "craze lines" I had pointed out to the men at Duren Family Dental. My new dentist confirmed, those were no craze lines. I will likely lose this tooth due to the negligence I experienced at Duren Family Dental, but if I'm lucky enough to keep it, it will cost me upwards of $6,000. I do not recommend this practice and I do not recommend Dr. Duran as a human being.

Dr. Duren and his staff are exceptional. They are highly trained, trusted without exception, friendly, respectful, and take every precaution with dental care. I highly recommend them after 50 years with this group and 3 generations of family going to this clinic!
