Dr. Buxton is an amazing dentist not only would I travel to see her but she put your mind at ease. I am not a dentist person by any means and I never have been. I was lucky enough to find her and I suggest if anyone has any issues with dentist With anxiety or stress go see her she’s amazing dentist she puts me at ease for my dental repairs. Five stars is not enough for her and her staff.

Dr. Buxton is an excellent dentist. However, I was treated very poorly today by the receptionist. I received a text from the office on October 1st saying it was time to schedule my next visit. Since then I have called and called and left messages, but didn't receive a call back. I tried to book online and still no call back. I thought maybe the office was closed for vacation or moved. Today my son had an appointment very close to the office, so I thought I will just swing by to see if they were open. When I walked in and said hello I immediately noticed her demeanor changed. I explained to her that I've been trying to reach the office for a while but to no avail. She said to have a seat as another patient was approaching along with the dentist. I waited until she was through. She then said to me " yes can I help you". I began explaining to her again when she said " oh there's a note here that you were a no show for 2 appointments and the dentist won't see you again.

" I asked if she knew my name as she did not ask me . . she said are you ---?. I said yes I am. This showed me that she has seen me calling and deliberately ignored my calls. I told her that me missing 2 appointments was not correct. I had messaged her asking to reschedule 1 appointment as I was not well. She said "well I'm not going to argue with you as there are children in the office ". . . . I was stunned by her reaction. She then said " You missed the appointments and as well, the office is no longer accepting Ontario Disability insurance ". I was in total shock as to her behavior and tone towards me.

I asked why didn't the office simply inform me of this rather than not responding to my calls. She had no answer. She was absolutely unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Edited. *** Oct 22, 2024 Re: reply from Dr. Buxton There are a few key things in life that I teach my children and one of them is to always, always be truthful. Dr. Buxton, while you are good at your craft, you are not at telling the truth in this situation. I did NOT raise my voice when speaking to the receptionist. No one neither child nor adult was concerned or impacted by my close -up conversation with her. If anything it was her reaction to me that would be questionable. You have cameras in the office and it would show I was by no means raising my voice . The most despicable thing to do is to not apologize sincerely and try to twist the truth in this situation. You have a great day! :)

I just recently switched over to Dr. Buxton. She has made me feel so at ease as I am a very anxious patient. Her bubbly personality and genuine nature makes all the difference. Every one of her staff are just as welcoming and friendly!

This is 100% the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Buxton and her team are so caring and amazing! Nothing but positive things to say about them. My family and I always have a great experience going there. Dr. Buxton was so great with my anxious family members and Sam always does her best to make sure we're taken care of with our appointments. So grateful to have found them!
