My dad had an appointment here and lady Ashley in office treated him different because of the medication he is on. She loudly asked him if he had taken his medication but using the name of the medicine with a full waiting room. (HIPPA violation I'd would think) He said "ma'am is it your job to ask me that, actually I'll talk to you after my appointment" She said "no you won't they are putting you under and then laughed like a witch" So being humiliated in front of a full waiting room my dad left so there wouldn't be no more back and forth.

We'll my dad still needs this work done on his mouth so his dentist makes him another appointment at this place. Valerie makes the appointment but calls him THREE MONTHS later the DAY BEFORE HIS APPOINTMENT to tell him he isn't allowed in the building and they would have to cancel his appointment. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Dr.long is the best oral surgeon orthodontist to see in all of Onslow county. You don’t have to go out of town to Wilmington or Greenville anymore. My wisdom teeth were impacted. He remove those a cyst out of my jaw and did my daughters as well. Bedside manner is excellent staff is great if anyone goes to get wisdom, teeth removed, or any other stuff done see Dr. Richard Long!!

The lady Ashley in the front treated me different because of a type of medication I'm on. Lol my counselor let her know just because someone takes a certain type of medication doesn't mean you treat them differently. But I hope people have a better experience there than I did, all because of Ashley in front office. Ashley set my temper off to where I left so I didn't get to see how good Dr Long. Lol update for some reason my dentist sent me back to this stupid place.

I had made an appointment 3 months ago Lady named Valerie scheduled my appointment but Valerie calls me the day before and tells me they have to cancel because I'm not allowed to be seen their anymore. I was never informed of this. There was no big argument I just left because I felt humiliated by the lady Ashley and I thought it was best I left because i was about to get mad. ABOUT TO!. Well I guess now I'm not allowed back because i walked out agyer being humiliated which is fine.

But scheduling me an appointment then waiting 3 months to call me the day before to cancel was messed up. Ashley in front desk has no respect for patients. Valerie did but didn't seem real smart

On April 4th, we went to Dr Longs bc we were referred there through our primary Dentist. Due to being referred there we thought all was okay. Now we find out that after not only paying over $1k up front, get an additional bill for another $700. Putting the total at just under $2k on a 2700 procedure. To make matters worse, I contacted the office to inquire about this matter and was told they do not give insurance pre-aurhorizations UNLESS the customer asks for one. However, what they gave us instead was just an estimate.

They verified our insurance and did not state that they were out of network, offer a pre-authorization, and essentially told us to call our insurance. I've contacted insurance and received more information than this office would even give. Essentially charging us double for out of network vs being in. Highly recommend anyone verifying insurance network status Even if referred by your primary doctor.
