There is a reason they only have 3 stars. Interesting enough Northpoint Dental has more stars and apparently better customer service. I'd go there and avoid this place like the plague. Trust me when I say the little 3 stars they have shows a clear picture of their lack of customer service. They put me on same day appointment only last year due to me missing multiple appintments (mother died tragically so terrible irresponsible me couldn't keep up with my appointment with extreme grief and all) so I said the hell with that and just stopped coming. Why put up with that when there are so many other GOOD dentists to go to. So after 6 months they called me (yeah I bet their customer base was going down) and said I was due for a cleaning so I went ahead and scheduled.

After that I was miraculously able to schedule again. But then missed 2 appintments, one of which I didn't get areminder for. So back to the same day list I go. This last time was due to the really bad traffic since the huge Key bridge collapse. I called when I was on my way to say I'd be running a little behind (which is not really the same as a missed no show appointment) and was told I'd have to reschedule but since I missed my previous appointment I couldn't reschedule. Man I'm done with this dentist office!!! I don't think they like Black women even thought the dentist herself is Black. She needs to adjust her office policies or she will have no business.

She's not untouchable. Even those who are extra punctual to thier appointment may pass on this dentist due to her low reviews. And trust me by this time next year they will have even less stars. Sad that they don't care about Google reviews when studies show that bad reviews can cause a business to lose customers/money and worse even ruin a business. I believe karma and if you have nasty intentions hidden behind office policies you will suffer. Let's all watch and see.

On 7/11 I went in for an emergency visit to have a bridge re-cemented. While I was there, after an hour , they only did a temporary re-cement and I was told I had to return on Monday with a different doctor. I returned on Monday . Was told that I had no coverage for that service and had to pay $150 up front. I have 2 insurances. They DID NOT check to see if my Dental had coverage. They only checked my medical.

It has been over a month and my secondary was not billed. I called myself to verify after never receiving and EOB and nothing showing on portal. When I called I was told I had 80% coverage of the allowable but they had to bill. I called the billing department 2 times and was sent straight to VM. Finally had someone call back who talked to my like I was an idiot. I explained the situation. This is NOT the 1st time they have messed up my insurance.

After being talked to like I was an idiot I was put on a long hold and told that the bill went out to GEHA today. Funny how it went out on the day I called. Once again they seemed to have only billed my medical and not my actual dental. So, now I have to wait for GEHA to pay East point family dentistry before I get refunded. Back when Dr Cammoralli owned the practice I never had an issue with billing. Since he sold its one thing after another.

I am truly amazed and appreciative of the wonderful experience I had at my first visit. After too many past negative experiences, I was full of anxiety but it was quickly alleviated from the first moment meeting the reception and throughout my entire visit. Every single person I met was kind, caring, empathetic and very professional.

This experience changed my perspective of what going to the dentist means and I am truly grateful.
