These people are great. They took the fear out of needing a dentist. The doctor was very cool, he and the entire staff put me at ease. I am returning for more work and would recommend this office to anyone needing dental service.

I believe this dentist’s billing was grossly unfair and predatory. Especially given that he was willing to add an $800 fee for 10 minutes of work, I would not entrust my family and friends to his care. Additionally, by avoiding dental codes that my insurance would have accepted, this dentist showed little interest in advocating for me as his patient. I confirmed with the insurance company that he did submit at least one approved code but never billed for it.

Instead he submitted unapproved codes. I believe he did so to bypass reduced contractual fees as an in-network provider and charge me whatever he liked for unapproved billing codes. It was only through many hours of researching and fact-finding, as well as corresponding with the insurance company and with another dental professional, that I was able to confirm I was unfairly charged. I spent much time and effort challenging this dentist’s overcharges, but in the end I was only partly successful in reversing his excessive fees.

He finally reduced his $800 add-on fee to $400, claiming he is entitled to charge by procedure code regardless of the time and effort involved. Regarding the unapproved codes he charged for, it took me tremendous effort to identify and have him submit new codes that were approved by insurance. But he refused to completely remove his $800 add-on fee.
