I've moved across the country, but Dr. Elder's office is still my favorite dental practice. Dr. Matt is clearly skilled and knowledgeable, in addition to having a great rapport with his patients, and the hygienists and admin staff are uniformly excellent.

Honest, friendly, and competent. This might not sound like a lot, but it is. I had to stay in the desert for an extended period of time. There was some plaque that hardened on my teeth causing them to always look dirty. I was told by 3 different dentist and 3 different hygienist that my teeth were stained.

It was embarrassing and I didn't like to smile in front of other people. I went here because it was convenient. I set down and the hygienist cleaned my teeth. She was not as gentle as the others, but when she was done my teeth were clean for the first time in years. I came back because, after having visible plaque buildup for years, I trusted and appreciated the person who finally cleaned my teeth properly.

I have found that both Dr Herman Elder and his son are good honest people who know what they are doing, care about their patients, and don't push you to do unnecessary things. The work they have done for me has held up for years and nothing has failed at this point in time.
