Seriously. I mean seriously, a great place. Two things. First, the receptionist is AMAZING. Checked my coverage and made sure several times I was covered for the right procedures. She even checked during my visit to make sure. I cannot understate how important her work is and how much I appreciate her keeping up on it. She saved me lots of time with me on the phone with my insurance.

Second, the dentist. Wow. He made me feel comfortable and walked me through everything. No pain and fixed my hurting tooth. I have been to several dentists in my life. This was the best experience and I will be coming back.

Like most people, I dread going to the dentist. Just the thought of someone poking around in my mouth makes me anxious. I just recently acquired dental insurance so I searched around for dentists near me that were also within my network. I stumbled upon Elk Grove Dental Care, which is just a mere 3 minutes away from where I live, and started reading amazing reviews -- not to mention their great evening and weekend hours! I decided to give them a try and am SO glad that I did.

Everyone at this office is extremely kind and made me feel comfortable the second I walked in the door. Noreen, the receptionist, was very friendly and started chatting with me right away. Shortly after I was called in back, I met Dr. Parekh who I absolutely adore!! He is funny and kind and wants to get to know you.

His calming demeanor put me at ease right away. The x-ray tech (can't remember her name) was also very nice. For anyone who hates going to the dentist as much as I do, I fully recommend Elk Grove Dental Care! They will make your dentist visit much less stressful!

Staff were friendly, however I only went once and haven't been back. The cleaning was not as thorough as I am used to. I was told everything was fine, they didn't comment on my poor flossing, there were no cavities, and things were good---which is RARE for my dental appointments. After a cleaning my mouth is sore and I enjoy that they go all in there and really deep clean even though its not a "deep cleaning" appointment.

When the doctor didn't say anything about my lack of flossing I was concerned. never have I been to an apt where the doctor wasn't concerned. I knew this was not a good fit for me because I need a doctor to tell me that I need to get it together and do better so my gums don't have problems in the future! Anyways I switched to my husbands dentist and bam, I was informed right away my flossing skills were terrible (in a nice manner), and that I needed to do better or else gingivitis was coming my way. I'm glad I made the switch, they also found cavities and the cleaning left my gums sore and I was pleased with how well they did.

Elk Grove Dental Care was just not for me. I see positive reviews which is great. It just wasn't for me and I didn't enjoy my experience.

Almost my whole family has been going here for years. The Doctors are amazing and have a great sense of Humor. Highly Recommend!
