Great experience here! The support staff went above and beyond to work with my insurance company, and Dr. Elmore and his assistant were quick, efficient, and super friendly. Root canals are NEVER fun but when you can be in and out in 30 minutes it makes it a lot more tolerable!

Awful Experience with the office staff. I was told that my insurance company changed their payment policy for everyone, that you now had to pay upfront and would be reimbursed (never any mention of out of network, just that this is the new policy for all offices). I questioned it and was reassured that this is how the insurance company is handling payments with everyone. Come to find out that no, this is incorrect and they only do this if they're out of network. Had that been shared with me, I would've chosen another provider (in network). Instead, the office staff lied about the policy so that I would schedule the appointment (scheduled for 8am and made the appt around 4pm the day before, not much time for research). I have reached out to the office multiple times to resolve this and they refuse to call or write me back.

The root canal cost 3 times what it should have because they were not honest about being out of network. I've been here one other time, same insurance, and had no coverage issues so I did not question it further, given that the receptionist reassured me that it was simply a policy change for the insurance company, nothing more. Also, while waiting to be numb, I experienced my first ever panic attack. I was shaking uncontrollably and crying. I couldn't stop. They laid me back and went to work. No checking on me.

I literally shook and cried the entire time. If a patient is in distress, you should address it properly. I will never recommend this office to anyone. I've shared my experience with my dentist office, since Dr. Elmore is usually their first recommendation-- they were beyond horrified to hear about the billing issue (LIES) and panic attack being ignored. Bottom line, do not go here.

I was told when I scheduled my consultation and upon arrival that the appointment was covered, with the exception of the x-ray I had to pay $175 out of pocket for. However 6 weeks later I was informed that I owed an additional $54 because their fee exceeded my insurance allowable amount. I was in the office for approximately 10 minutes for them to inform me that they did not feel they could help me with my issue.

I have asked for a return call to discuss the issue after being told I was only given an "estimate" that the appointment was covered.

If I could rate a -5 that would be the rating for Dr. Elmore. I had a root canal done and when my dentist requested that I have Elmore assess the tooth due to more sensitivity and the tooth feeling foreign, he refused to assess it. He takes the money but provides no follow through. He has a horrible chair side manor. I wouldn't take my dog to him.

I advised my general dentist of my wonderful experience and told them not to refer any of their patients to him. The root canal failed. Unless you want to be put between a rock and a hard place. . . DON'T GO TO HIM!
